BlackWarGrowlmon is an Android Digimon whose name and design are derived from "Black WarGrowlmon". Like BlackGrowlmon, which it digivolved from, its Virus-species nature is expressed by its darker appearance, and it is called the "Black Destroyer Dragon". Its upper body has been metallized with the strongest metal, Chrome Digizoid, and it is able take flight with the two vernier attached to both of its shoulders. Also, since the cable-like object extending from the back section is extensible, it can be used to impale the opponent. It has the "Pendulum Blades" equipped to both of its arms.^[3] Its harness is adorned with the symbol of the Digital Hazard, and the DigiCode on its stripes reads (デジタルモンスター, Dejitaru Monsutā^?, lit. "Digital Monster").

BlackWarGrowlmon can be found in Amaterasu's West Sector, in Dum Dum Factory as a boss. He is also available as a Brown Mega Card with 45/30.

BlackWarGrowlmon digivolves from Growlmon, and can digivolve into ChaosGallantmon.

BlackWarGrowlmon digivolves from Growlmon at LV 40 with 3600 dark exp and 3300 machine exp.BlackWarGrowlmon can be DNA Digivolved from Reptildramon and DarkTyranomon at level 35, with 3000 machine exp and 3000 dark exp. For some reason, ChaosGallantmon does not digivolve from BlackWarGrowlmon, but combined with Diaboromon at level 63, with 25000 dark exp. and an Attack 360+ creates ChaosGallantmon.
