Captured by Neptunmon, Archelomon is forced to give up the whereabouts of the Code Crown. In order to protect the Code Crown, Taiki and the others head into the stomach of a gigantic Digimon, KingWhamon. There, the group, as well as the Bagra Army, wage battle inside KingWhamon.
Team Xros Heart learns of Archelomon's kidnapping when they are ambushed by a swarm of Flymon dropping explosives mixed with sodas and the island is on top of KingWhamon. Syakomon then uses his attack to destroy some of the falling explosives as Shoutmon tries his luck destroying some of them. When Taiki dives in to save Shoutmon, KingWhamon ends up swallowing them as the Flymon pursue them. In order to find a way out, Taiki calls out the white Pickmon and its Chibickmon followers to each take a path and find a way out. When one of the Chibickmon finds something, it reports back to the primary Pickmon who leads Taiki and Shoutmon down the path only to encounter the Flymon at the other end. One of the Flymon stings Shoutmon while the others do a sound attack on Taiki. A Flymon then flies to the Island Zone's Code Crown only for a forcefield to prevent that Flymon to get to it. Meanwhile, the others pray hard as KingWhamon tells Taiki to grab Shoutmon and hold on to something. Taiki does as water floods the area sending the Flymon out the blowholes. KingWhamon then drops down a slime that ends up healing Shoutmon. KingWhamon allows Taiki to claim the Island Zone's Code Crown. When Taiki and Shoutmon make it to Whamon's mouth, Neptunemon unleashes Ebidramon. Taiki merges Shoutmon and Ballistamon into Shoutmon x2 and then combines Starmon and the Pickmon to form the Star Axe. Ebidramon manages to get Shoutmon x2 between it's claws as Bukamon and Syakomon dive in to help. On the orders of KingWhamon, ChibiKamemon retrieves a container which contains different DigiMemories. Taiki uses one DigiMemory which summons a Leviamon that frees Shoutmon x2 enough for him to destroy Ebidramon. When Team Xros Heart learns of the DigiMemories, Neptunemon unleashes an army of Seadramon and commands them to attack the island.
