DigimonWiki:Coupling guidelines

Pages that discuss couplings should generally follow these guidelines and advice:
- Media released by Toei on Digimon is considered a valid source of evidence, meaning any manga, anime, novels, and movies. Remember to state where information comes from.
- Don't remove information simply because you disagree with it. Instead, discuss it on the talk page of that article.
- Remain neutral and calm when editing any of the pages, putting aside whatever preferences they have at the moment.
- Coupling pages are generally considered to be fan pages, and are not held to the same standard as most Digimon Wiki articles. This is due to a number of factors, such as the greater allowance for speculation.
- Anything exclusively from the English dub and prominently not in the Japanese version must be marked.
- When making/deleting a page in this section, remember to also update the Couplings template and the show's respective template.
- Try not to "disprove" a coupling on its very page. Also, try not to disprove another coupling (i.e. attempting to disprove Davis & Kari in a T.K. & Kari article). The only exception is when the coupling has been thoroughly and canonically proved false (i.e. Ken and Yolei getting married disproving another pairing involving Ken or Yolei)
