Ken and Matt help out the a Mexican Digidestined, while Sora and Yolei helped those in Russia and Siberia. They all return back to Japan, just in time for Christmas. However, Arukenimon is still up to something.

  • Ilya is the one to say 'DigiPort open', despite the fact that only Digidestined with D3s can open a DigiPort. Possible dub error.

  • In the Japanese version, the guard threatened Matt and Ken into leaving by pointing a gun at them. This part was cut from the English version.
  • In the Japanese version, Wormmon asks Ken how to say "good-bye" in Spanish, in the dub he asks him how to say "thank you".

  • In the Japanese episode, when Yolei, Sora and the Russian DigiDestined were flying, Yolei says "Go, Go, Digi Rangers!", parodying the Power Rangers.

[edit] Miscellaneous Trivia

  • Gotsumon is the only digimon in the first two seasons to have a proper digivolution sequence other than the twelve main Digidestined's digimon.
  • This is the only episode that seems to indicate difficulty in communication between the Japanese Digidestined and those of other countries.
    • Matt, Wormmon, and Gabumon all could not speak Spanish and thus could not understand Rosa, but Ken was able to translate.
    • Yolei and Sora could not speak Russian at all, greatly impairing communication between the Japanese and Russian Digidestined.
  • Ken, Matt, Yolei and Sora announce the episode title in the Japanese episode.
