Tactimon reveals the truth of Dorulumon's past, but Taiki is determined to trust Dorulumon anyway.

Though Tactimon reveals Dorulumon was his most clever warrior until he deserted the Bagra Army, Taiki's trust him doesn't waver as Tactimon uses his sword Jatetsufūjin-maru to split the ground and capture Taiki and Dorulumon with the intent to put them to death. However, before the Meramon army follow Tactimon's order, Kiriha arrives on MailBirdramon and attacks some of the Meramon. As Tactimon deals with MailBirdramon personally, the other members of Team Xros Heart free Taiki and Dorulumon with the help of BlueMeramon. While leading Dorulumon and Team Xros Heart through a cavern, BlueMeramon reveals how he is repaying his debt to Dorulumon for saving his life when Tactimon ordered a raid on the zone they were conquering regardless if they lose their soldiers in the process. Taking Xros Heart to Taiki's Xros Loader, BlueMeramon takes an attack from SkullMeramon meant for Dorulumon. As Shoutmon destroys SkullMeramon, BlueMeramon dies and thanks Dorulumon for what he had done for him. Xros Heart's Digimon proceed to defeat the Meramon army before AncientVolcamon absorbs them to assume a more powerful form that overwhelms the group before he turns his attention to Dorulumon. After summoning a Garurumon with the DigiMemory to save Dorulumon, Taiki proceeds to Digi Xros him into Shoutmon + Dorulu Cannon to weaken Fused AncientVolcamon before Shoutmon X3 is formed to finish their opponent off. While that occurs, with Tactimon overpowering Mailbirdramon, Kiriha summons Greymon to cover their escape. Later, as Dorulumon and Cutemon agree to join up with Xros Heart from now on, Xros Heart receives the Magma Zone's Code Crown as they head to the next zone.
