While the DigiDestined begin a thorough investigation into Oikawa, BlackWarGreymon appears in the real world, still on a destructive quest to find the meaning of his existence.
Synopsis
Oikawa returns the seeded kids in hopes of one sprouting. When they come back, they become super-intelligent and their parents are thrilled, but the kids know the truth. The DigiDestined start visiting the children's homes to convince their parents into believing the truth, but they won't hear of it. Agumon tells the DigiDestined that BlackWarGreymon has entered the Real World. BlackWarGreymon approaches Oikawa and discovers the truth about himself, that Oikawa is his creator. Feeling like his existence was fake, he tries to kill Oikawa, but Agumon warp digivolves to WarGreymon and stops the both of them. They start to fight when Imperialdramon Fighter Mode also enters, and he and WarGreymon put a stop to the batle. Oikawa flees, while the degenerated Agumon, Veemon, and Wormmon stay behind to talk to BlackWarGreymon about his destiny and ask to be his friend. Confused, BlackWarGreymon leaves to sort out his feelings.

Animation errors
- In a shot of the DigiDestined raising their fists in the air in T.K.'s home, Gatomon's paws are colored white.
- In a scene in the Digital World, Kari was shown in her winter outfit instead of her usual outfit in the Digital World.
Dubbing changes
- The actual shot of Noriko kicking the cat is removed from the English dub.
Digimon references
- The scene where Noriko kicks a cat mirrors Ken in the episode A New Digitude, when he kicks a small dog (though, both of these scenes are removed from the English dub).
