Examon is a Holy Warrior Digimon. One of the "Royal Knights", it possesses an extraordinary data size, so traditional digital tools were unable to completely render it, and its existence was discovered because it finally became possible to render it with the use of state-of-the-art digital tools. Though it belongs to the Royal Knights, it is simultaneously a being which stands at the top of all Dragon Digimon, and holds the alias of "Dragon Emperor". It possesses the gigantic, sentient wings "Caledfwlch" and the gigantic lance Ambrose ("Ambrosius"). The Caledfwlch is a unique set of wings composed entirely of Chrome Digizoid, and at its own will, it can at times change into wings for flight, or into a shield which defends Examon. The gigantic lance "Ambrose" is loaded with special shells stocked with viruses which possess various effects, so Examon's attacks are quite diverse.[4]
Attacks
- Avalon's Gate: Pierces its foes with Ambrose, blasting all of the lance's special bullets into them to destroy them from the inside.
- Pendragon's Glory: Shoots up into the exosphere and unleashes a powerful laser beam from Ambrose.
- Dragonic Impact: Plunges down from the exosphere to slam into foes while its body is still hot from friction generated by its reentry into the atmosphere. It is accompanied by a shockwave, so it can sometimes wipe out huge numbers of foes across a wide area.
- Ambrosius
- Ambrose Strike: Impales the enemy with its tail and flings them before charging and stabbing them with Ambrose.
- Caledfwlch Dive: Dives into the enemy.
Design[]
Examon is a large red dragon with green eyes, large torn wings, and a large tail. It has multiple horns on its head, the largest being its frontal horn, and its two back horns. It has white scales in the front of its body, going from its chest to its tail. Its hands have three fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, and a claw on each on each finger and toe. It wears gold ornaments on its claws, frontal horn, and the spikes on its wings. It wields the "Ambrosius", a gigantic black lance. It has many red gems on its chest, thighs, frontal horn, back horns, and the top spikes of its wings.
Examon may be based on the Welsh Dragon.

Examon was originally designed to be the Mega for Dracomon's blue "Heavenly Dragon" (天竜 Tenryū?) evolution line, but was traded with Slayerdramon as the Mega form of the "Almighty Dragon" (全能竜 Zen'nouryū?) ruling over both heaven and earth when the proposal for a full, third Yellow line was discarded.[6]

Examon is #290, and is a Mega-level, Attacker-class, Dragon-species Digimon with a resistance to the Fire and Holy elements and a weakness to the Dark element. It possesses the Health 200%, 7 Lucky Gods, Stun Barrier, and Challenger traits.
It dwells in the Login Mountain. When defeated, it can drop the debug plate for Examon.
Examon digivolves from MasterTyrannomon. In order to digivolve into Examon, your Digimon must be at least level 49 with 3 Aptitude and 220 attack, but only once you have revived and befriended Examon.
It can be hatched from the High Drago DigiEgg.

In Complete Edition, Examon no longer digivolves from RizeGreymon and DoruGreymon, and is instead an Ultra level Digimon that uses 25 memory, and DNA digivolves from Slayerdramon and Brakedramon.
