Falcomon is a Rookie level Bird Digimon that lives in high mountains. The Data Squad version of Falcomon has the ability to fly while the original version is only able to glide rather than fly.

The Data Squad version of Falcomon looks somewhat different from the original version, with a smaller toothless beak, red eye markings, dark brown body feathers and purple chest feathers with shuriken markings.

Falcomon looks like a ninja. He resembles more of an owl than a falcon.

This Falcomon, different from the original Falcomon design in the card game, is the partner of Keenan Crier (Ikuto Noguchi) and is a servant of Merukimon. Details about his past are sketchy, but he has known Keenan since he was very young, and has a distrust of humans other than Keenan. He and Keenan were protected by a female Frigimon—who was destroyed—an act which Falcomon believes humans are responsible for.

Years after this, he came to the human world on his own to try and return Puwamon to the Digital World. In his second attempt, he showed great speed and prowess, until he was knocked out of the sky by Marcus Damon. He was nearly destroyed by GeoGreymon, until Merukimon arrived to save him. He then returned to the digital world. He was reunited with Keenan, and joined his human partner in ambushing the members of DATS when they came to the Digital World. During his attack on the DATS members, he Digivolved Falcomon to Peckmon.

After this, Falcomon's next prominent act was to forge an unsteady alliance with the humans, in order to save Keenan from the virus that was afflicting him and Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda. He led them to a place called Wanderer's Cape, where they were beset by a Blossomon sent by the Gotsumon that works for Merukimon. Falcomon escaped with the vaccine and helped Keenan, but also helped to save Yoshino. He departed with his partner, conflicted in his thoughts about humanity. He and Keenan attacked again near Merukimon's lair only to be interrupted by a Mammothmon unleashed by Gotsumon. As Gawappamon was holding off Merukimon, Falcomon followed the DATS members (and the unconscious Keenan) back to the Real World. After Okuwamon attacks and Hagurumon taking over Dr. Crier's house, Falcomon fled with Keenan when Commander Sampson's superior Chief Hashiba appeared. Falcomon continues to help Keenan and DATS. After the fight against Yggdrasill, Falcomon returns to the Digital World with the other Digimon.

  • Scratch Smash: Uses the claws to scratch.
  • Ninja Blade (『手裏裏剣』 Shuririnken?):[2] Releases multiple shuriken at his opponents.
  • Firecracker Smokescreen (『打竹落し』 Uchitake Otoshi?, lit. "Uchitake Drop"):[3] Drops exploding bamboo cylinders on his enemies.

Other forms

The name "Falcomon" refers only to the Rookie form of this Digimon. Throughout the series, Falcomon gains the ability to Digivolve into a number of more powerful forms, each with a different name and special attack. However, the Rookie level is his preferred form and the one he spends most of his time in.

Peckmon t

Peckmon is the Champion of Falcomon. He first appeared when Keenan challenged the members of DATS when they emerged into the Digital World with the intention of fighting Merukimon. He dodged the attacks of GeoGreymon, Gaogamon, and Sunflowmon before being hit by Cherrymon's attack. After RizeGreymon stopped Gotsumon's attack, Keenan and Peckmon fled. Peckmon reappears in future episodes.

  • Spiral Claw: Spins around and drives one of his feet into the adversary.
  • Thousand Beak: Creates shadow clones to rapidly peck his enemies.
  • Kunai Wing (『苦無羽』 Kunai Bane?, lit. "Kunai Feathers"): Throws kunai-like sharp, bladed feathers that explode.

Crowmon t

Crowmon is the Ultimate form of Falcomon. Falcomon first Digivolves to this series version of Crowmon when his partner Keenan Crier gains his new Digisoul to avenge Merukimon's death, when it came to battling Akihiro Kurata's Gizumon-XT and destroyed it.

  • Savage Emperor (『甕布都神』 Mikafutsu no Kami?):[4] Channels the energy produced in the Dokkosho on his wings to his third leg and fires. The Digimon who experience this technique are completely broken down into pixels.
  • Black Feathers (『羽黒』 Haguro?, lit. "Feather-black"): Converts his surroundings to the dark of night for 3 kilometers with the black light that is emitted from his jet black wings.

Ravemon t

Ravemon is the Mega form of Falcomon. He is known as the "Crow of the Silver", and wields the Chououmaru (鳥王丸? lit. "Raven King"). Falcomon digivolved to Ravemon The Battle with Belphemon!, in order to fight Belphemon. He later appears against the Royal Knights Craniamon and Gallantmon, fights the Knightmon soldiers of Yggdrasill under the command of the Royal Knights, and then appears a last time to fight Leopardmon.

The Royal Knights Assemble Father and Son Destiny Thomas Bursts On The Scene! Justice Equals Power!

  • Spiral Raven Claw: He does a rotating charge (with the sharp claw of his left arm) and is wrapped in a whirlwind, then charges at a high speed towards the enemy.
  • Blast Wing: Tears up the enemy with the wing of his left arm.
  • Celestial Blade (『天之尾羽張』 Ame no Ohabari?, lit. "Blade of Heaven"):[5] Thrusts his sword into the ground, making it shine and shoot violet lightning at the opponent. A different attack of the same name is used by Susanoomon

Ravemon Burst Mode

Ravemon Burst Mode t

Ravemon Burst Mode is the Burst-digivolved form of Ravemon.

Ravemon first digivolved into Burst Mode in "Justice Equals Power", in order to fight the Royal Knight Leopardmon. He later appeared to help ShineGreymon Burst Mode and the other DATS Digimon fight the Royal Knight Craniamon. He last appeared in the final confrontation against King Drasil alongside the other DATS Digimon.

Ravemon Burst Mode is fought alongside Rosemon Burst Mode during the Legendary Tamer Quest in Digimon World Dawn/Dusk.

  • Crimson Formation (『無双天翔翼之陣』 Musou Tenshou Yoku no Jin?, lit. "Array of Peerless Soaring Wings"): Fires violet aura from his wings like a blade.
  • Mourning Dance (『怒涛闇供喪之舞』 Dotou Yami Kyoumo no Mai?, lit. "Dance of Raging Waves of Dark Mourning"): A fast moving attack where Ravemon uses hand to hand combat.
  • Lightning Thrust (『雷光一閃之突』 Raikou Issen no Totsu?, lit. "Lightning Flash Thrust"): Thrusts at his opponent with violet lightning.

  2. Shuririnken (『手裏裏剣』?) is a play on words based on the direct translation of the name, the use of "rin" in splitting "shuri" and "ken"—shuriken being a common weapon associated with ninjas—implies dozens of smaller versions of a shuriken—in this case, it applies to the multitude of shuriken Falcomon uses in this attack.
  3. Uchitake itself is a ninja tool, so it remains untranslated as it is a proper noun.
  4. Mikafutsu no Kami is the name of the personification of a divine sword given to Emperor Jinmu, who was once guided by the Yatagarasu.
  5. Ame no Ohabari is the name of Izanagi's sword in Japanese mythology.
