Herrindramon gets it's title for a reason; It is based on none other than an dragonic Oarfish, which is sometimes nicknamed "King of Herrings" due to it's massive size, a size which Herrindramon is also known for except far larger in comparison. It isn't as large as XILA-Mon, but it certainly does give a frighteningly massive size to impose those who dare challenge in the volcanic depths. It is easily the most powerful Digimon in that region of the Digital World, but it's laziness can leave tamers in a bad situation due to it's attitude of sometimes disobeying commands. Though classified as a Aquan species Digimon, it can live on a Dragon DigiFarm with no difficulties due to it's traits. From the looks of it's appearance, it has more in common with dragons than it does fish at all. Sometimes the lava serpent sightings can be attributed to Herrindramon, but it is rarely seen above ground at all and only seen in lava chambers at depths of 1,000 feet.
Digimon World: Bronze and Cobalt Versions
Herrindramon is nothing special, except for the fact it's a secret boss that can be faced if XILA-Mon's line is faced last. Finding it, however, poses a problem, as the view is obscured by the surrounding lava, making it too bright for it to be seen. Luckily, it's loud snoring can be heard and will lead you right into an underground air pocket where Herrindramon resides. It is extremely tough in comparison to later bosses in the game, even if it's stats get nowhere near as high as other bosses found later on after the mainstory. Herrindramon has a random chance to disobey commands given to it, either using a move at random, skipping it's turn completely, or inflicting the Sleep status upon itself. Herrindramon digivolves from Trenchamon at Level 60 with 5,000 Dragon Exp.
