Hiakru "Hiu" Kamiya (八神 太一 Yagami Hikaru?), is a fictional character from the seventh and eight seasons of the anime and manga Digimon Adventure 07 Legacy and Digimon Adventure 08.

He is characterized as a happy-go-lucky and friendly, adventurous, but naïve character who sometimes wears sunglasses, a characteristic that would eventually become shared among the leaders of the various DigiDestined in Digimon. He is the son of Taichi Tai Kamiya.

As a brash person, he often acts on impulse without realizing the consequences of his actions like his father. This leads him to moments of friction and guilt between his best friend and rival Kevin, his oldest friend Sara Takenouchi, as well as his Digimon partner Agumon. As a true leader, however, he manages to do whatever is necessary to rectify the situation, and in times of need, save friends and family from certain doom.

His appearance is based on Taichi Yagami, the human star of the Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01 manga, who in turn was based on Kentarou Kamon from the C'mon Digimon one-shot.

In the first Digimon series, Tai's outfit consists of a grey shirt, light brown pants, black sunglasses, white socks, and blue sneakers.
