This page is dedicated to the Ken Ichijouji and Hikari "Kari" Kamiya coupling, also known as Kenkari (a portmanteau of Ken and Hikari, the original Japanese names). The two are mainly in Digimon Adventure 02.

Episode 8: Ken's Secret
Kari makes a comment about Ken that "he's fantastic". (Dub insert)
Episode 9: The Emperor's New Home
Kari makes a comment about Ken having a gentle smile for a bad guy. (Dub insert)
Episode 21: The Crest of Kindness
When Ken starts to realize what horrible things he has done, Kari says, "The important thing is you've realized what you've done, and it's not too late to make a fresh start!" (Dub insert; Hikari's comment was actually cold)
Episode 31: "Opposites Attract"
When Yolei and Kari hear Ken screaming, Kari quickly runs to find him saying Kari: "That's Ken! He's in trouble!"
Episode 38: "A Very Digi-Christmas"
When Ken laughs Kari comments that he should laugh more because he "has a nice/handsome smile". Ken blushes in response.
Episode 45: "The Dark Gate"
When Ken tries to open the Dark Gate with his Digivice, Kari is the first to come up with putting her hands on his and encouraging him.
Other Notes
- Ken and Kari share a similar sense of darkness.
Speculation
- They seem to be good friends; however, in the end Ken marries Yolei.
- Despite the similar possible tendency to darkness, it appeared only in one episode, and has provided no means to strengthen a relationship given that they mostly ignored each other then.
