After Etemon and Chimairamon were defeated, Benjamin came to take the Digimentals back.
In Digimon: The Third World, Benjamin was revealed to be hiding in Japanese-styled house hidden under a lake in the Digital World, with Gennai. First they helped the Digimon Sovereigns to show the DigiDestined reason for choosing them to become the protectors of the worlds. Before the epilogue, they also revealed that there was an enemy even more powerful than the Chaotic Masters and it would be free from the space closed by the Wall of Fire if seven all Holy Stones are destroyed. In Part 2, Benjamin found Gennai and they managed to locate the last Holy Stone which they went to guard with Centauromon. But he was unable to stop Piemon's remaining sword from destroying the stone. He was last seen when the apparitions of the Digimon Sovereigns congratulated the DigiDestined for defeating the Chaotic Masters and Apocalymon.

They both helped to explains few details about the Digimon, the Digital World and the Dark Ocean. But the location of the house was discovered by PicoDevimon and both Benjamin and Gennai were taken captive. Gennai, however, managed to escape and gave more information about the magical door in Vamdemon's castle. After the DigiDestined left the Digital World, Gennai received a sphere from the Digimon Sovereigns that contained some energy from their DigiCores. This sphere was used by Troy Dawkins, Seamus Maitland, Dan Linwood and Wei Xueqi to allow Agumon, Gabumon, Veemon and Wormmon to Digivolve into their Mega forms. After BelilaVamdemon's defeat, Gennai chose to cut off his connections to the DigiDestined until it would be safe again.

He was last seen when the apparitions of the Digimon Sovereigns congratulated the DigiDestined for defeating the Chaotic Masters and Apocalymon.
Originally each Agent was meant to have either one or two countries to be monitored instead of one continent, but most of the Digital Agents were hunted down and killed by Vamdemon and the Chaotic Masters, leaving the surviving members to represent larger areas. But those who took upon themselves to represent Europe and South Asia were killed just before the Digitaclysm.
Devimon is the main antagonist of Digimon: First Adventure. He is mostly based on his counterpart in Digimon Adventure real-life show. He is an evil tyrant who has enslaved the File Island. He uses the Black Gears, which have many more abilities than in Digimon Adventure. The Gears can also bend the spacetime and take over machines to make them malfunction. Devimon is the first Digimon of Darkness who successfully breaks the barrier between the real world and the Digital World.
When he finds out that the DigiDestined have already received their Digivices and Partner Digimon, so he sent a brainwashed Kuwagamon destroy the Partner Digimon before they could learn to Digivolve. The plan failed, so Devimon used the other Bio-Emerged Black Gears to send the DigiDestined to the File Island. He also created barriers from dark energy that would prevent anyone from leaving the respective areas of the island where every DigiDestined was sent to. But the barriers were partly powered by Black Gears that had taken over local Digimon. After the brainwashed Digimon were released, the DigiDestined were able to use the Digivices to make holes into the barriers. Devimon had already managed create a small distortion to invade Kyoto, Japan. He gave a brainwashed Leomon a task to destroy the youngest DigiDestined, Edmund Harmon, who was meant to defeat him. Then he left with an army of Bakemon as well as Ogremon and four brainwashed Digimon: Centauromon, Unimon, Andromon and Teddymon.
The DigiDestined managed to follow him and defeated his minions. After that Devimon decided to fight himself and drained all the energy from the barriers as well as all Black Gears to grow larger. None of the Partner Digimon were able to stand against him and he was about to hurt Edmund. Patamon defended his human partner and Digivolved into Angemon. Angemon drained energy from the Digivices to empower himself, but was not more powerful than Devimon. He had to die and end up being reborn to defeat his adversary. When the DigiDestined promised to defeat the other Digimon of Darkness by learning how to Digivolve into Ultimate Level, Devimon became furious and tried to kill the DigiDestined. But then Angemon used all his powers and caused Devimon's body to shrink and disintegrate. Devimon's data flowed into the Wall of Fire, a force that prevented the Digital World from colliding with the human world, and was purified from the negativity for as a part of the reincarnation process. Despite Devimon being dead, his data scanned by the Webmasters. And one year later, it was used by Etemon to create Chimairamon.
Bakemon were Ghost Digimon serving both Devimon and Vamdemon. In Digimon: First Adventure, they were Devimon's only loyal servants. They weren't, however, very powerful, since it required only Rookie Level Digimon to defeat them. However, when they combined their powers and used battle strategies taught by Devimon, they were much harder to be defeated. They joined Devimon in the invasion Kyoto, but all of them were destroyed by the DigiDestined. In Digimon: The Third World, a bunch of Bakemon was commanded by Phantomon in the attack to Gennai's house. But since they knew about the fate of the ones who served Devimon, they initially ran away from the DigiDestined who came to open the Gate between the worlds. The Bakemon were later fully vanquished by Gennai in Vamdemon's castle.
The Webmasters are an organization created by Martin Harmon to eliminate the Digimon who they saw as a threat to mankind. They appear as the secondary antagonists of Digimon: Network Battles.
They had created a system named Cthulhu (based on Hypnos in Digimon Tamers) that would be able to monitor the electronic communications of the world by having several spies infiltrating into ECHELON system and Streamix Corporation, and sending the information to the Webmasters in order to scan for any Digimon ending up into the human world through the Digi-Gates.
In 2015, the Webmasters had scanned every Bio-Emerged Digimon from the real world and brainwashed Wei Xueqi to become the DigiShadow. On an unspecified date, they found the Golden Digimental of Miracles awhich was corrupted by the Black D-3 Digivice, without knowing that it was trap meant for them. Then, they revealed themselves to world and tried to make the DigiDestined look unsuitable to protect them humanity. The Webmasters started to develop digital weapons. The first one was Yuggoth, a digital energy projectile which was originally able to destroy only Champion-level Digimon or lesser ones. The second one was Shaggai which creates a vortex to suck any digital matter inside like a black hole and destroy it once and for all. The third weapon in development was an artificial Digimon to be sent into the Digital World to destroy the natural Digimon.
But little did the Webmasters know that DigiShadow's black D-3 was influenced by Etemon's Dark Network and that Etemon was planning to use their system to weaken the balance between the worlds. But Nanomon, Etemon's slave and forced administrator of the Dark Network, tried to warn both Benjamin and the DigiDestined about this. Etemon manipulated Shaggai to disrupt the balance between worlds and become an open gateway between them. After Martin Harmon surrendered and revealed the identity of every single member of the Webmasters, ending the organization once and for all. In Digimon: Age of Tamers, however, was revealed that one member of the Webmasters had managed to avoid capture: Ian Neidhardt. He had used several fake identities and used some remaining resources and information stolen from the DigiDestined to create a smaller but more ambitious organization named the Digital Revolution.
Martin Harmon is the Director of the Webmasters. He is the younger son of Robert and Laura Harmon, Kevin Harmon's brother and Edmund Harmon's paternal uncle.
Martin was born in 1985. Unlike his father and brother, Martin was serious and wanted to have the family fortune to be used to better the world, instead of what he thinks is "childish games and playing a god". When he was 15, Martin found out the truth about what the Digimon had evolved and saw them as threat. He ran away from and stole some of the money from the Streamix Corporation, leaving behind a message that he would find a way to destroy the Digimon once and for all. He was never heard of until 2010, when he had finished his educations and was living outside of North America. Robert had dropped all charges against him, but Martin refused return to America and reconnect with his family. Little did his family that Martin had been collecting supporters to his plans and creating the Webmasters.
After the Battle of Kyoto, Martin chose to reveal the Webmasters to the world. They sent DigiShadow to the battlefield to sabotage the DigiDestined's efforts and they tested Yuggoth by destroying a Bio-Emerged Shellmon and wounding Miyuki's Piyomon and Jake's Betamon in the process. When Greymon accidentally Dark Digivolved into SkullGreymon, Yuggoth was ineffective, but the Webmasters managed to release a footage of this battle to the Internet in order to turn the public opinion of the DigiDestined into negative. But the public opinion of the Webmasters was not positive either, since Yuggoth was not effective enough and they were not working for any governments yet.
When Shaggai was ready to be tested, Martin revealed himself to the world as the Director of the Webmasters. He then ordered the test to be started, but then Etemon used the Dark Network to conquer it and open two vortexes into the human world: first one into Oklahoma City and the other one into Hong Kong, where the Webmasters' main facility was. By protecting themselves with the Digivices, the DigiDestined confronted Martin and Nanomon sacrificed his life to make Shaggai destroy only the Digimon who were influenced by the Dark Network. The facility was destroyed, but Martin took the source codes of the Cthulhu system with him.
After Etemon and Chimairamon, a Composition Digimon formed from the information of Cthulhu's system database were destroyed, Kevin tried to convince his brother to see the error of his ways. Martin had a change of heart and surrendered into the police as well as gave them knowledge of all other members of the Webmasters. He also gave the source codes of the Cthulhu system to Kevin, hoping they can still be used for good.
In Digimon: The Third World, it was revealed that Martin 's actions were influenced by a Dark Spore. After some time in prison, he fell into psychosis and traveled into the Dark Ocean after Dagomon opened him a gateway there. He was taken by the DigiDestined back into the real world where Martin became aware of his surroundings again and wanted to help the DigiDestined. After BelialVamdemon body was destroyed, Martin trapped his spirit into Shaggai and attempted to destroy with Yuggoth, powered by the Partner Digimon. Martin, however, jumped into Shaggai too, committing a suicide.
In DigiPast Chronicles it was explained that Martin's serious attitude started to his feeling of being left out by his father and brother as well his mother's death in 1995. He started to develop his own skills with computers through books and self-teaching. During his first tests, he was infected by the Dark Spore he suffered from the next 23 years. His failed attempt to hack onto his father's secret files led to the birth of Diablomon which, three years later, caused Martin to finally find out the existence of the Digimon.
Originally Wei Xuegi, a new DigiDestined from Hong Kong who was brainwashed to serve the Webmasters as a "cyber mercenary" through manipulation devices called the Dark Spirals. Xueqi who despised his currently life and his Partner Digimon Wormmon allowed himself to be brainwashed.
First he was sent to use his black D-3 Digivice to return the Partner Digimon back to their Rookie forms in order to give the Webmasters a chance to destroy Shellmon by themselves. This angered Troy Dawkins and his reckless actions to put himself in danger to stop the DigiShadow cause Greymon to Dark Digivolve into SkullGreymon. The DigiShadow used this to turn the public against the DigiDestined. Two days later, the DigiShadow was sent to convince the governments to work with them and force the DigiDestined to quit their career and return to normal and much safer life. But then the DigiDestined attacked him and found out his true identity.
When the DigiDestined found the secret facility of the Webmasters from Hong Kong, Nanomon destroyed the Dark Spirals, freeing Xueqi and erasing the DigiShadow personality.
Etemon is the main antagonist of Digimon: Network Battles. He is mostly based on his counterpart in Digimon Adventure real-life show. He is an popular self-declared idol who had made a deal with the dark powers. He had received control over the Dark Network that allowed to conquer areas from the Server Continent and infect the Internet. He also used to it force several Digimons to work for him, including several Monochromon, Tyrannomon and Airdramon, as well as one Shellmon and one Gorillamon. The Gazimon were his only minions who truly idolized him.
Etemon had been monitoring the activites of the human organization named Webmasters. He had secretly infected some of their computers and was also responsible for giving the Black D-3 Dgivice the same ability his electrical guitar had: to force the Champion-level Digimon to De-Digivolve back into their Rookie forms. Etemon had also forced his enemy Nanomon to work as an administrator of the Dark Network. Nanomon, however, had secretly managed to contact the Digital Agents and helped the DigiDestined to locate the core of the Dark Network form the System Pyramids as well the headquarters of the Webmasters from Hong Kong.
When the Webmasters activated Shaggai, Etemon took over it and let his forces to invade the places where Shaggai had opened vortexes. But then, Nanomon installed a virus on Shaggai and used it to destroy every minion of Etemon by sacrificing him life. But Etemon himself survived and the DigiDestined survived by protecting themselves with the Digivices to use Shaggai to travel to Hong Kong. Etemon had bound his life force and his body with the Dark Network, and used the data collected by the Webmasters to create a Compostion Digimon named Chimairamon. But he was challenged by newly Digivolved MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon. Veemon also Armor Digivolved into Magnamon who damaged the core of the Dark Network, which created a vortex that destroyed Chimairamon. After that, MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon sent Etemon in the vortex to die as well, and his data to be purified by the Wall of Fire.
Etemon's servants and slaves
Gazimon were Etemon's most loyal servants. They are the only ones who loved Etemon's music and therefore allowed themselves to be infected by the Dark Network and they also helped their master to plan a new invasion to succeed on what Devimon failed to do.
As fighters, the Gazimon were far weaker than the army of Champion Level Digimon. The Gazimon only fought when they ambushed Troy, Kevin, Agumon, Tentomon and Armadimon and took them to the Colosseum in the middle of the desert in the Server Continent. The Gazimon were not sen fighting after that, but they were all destroyed when Shaggai, infected by Nanomon, sucked all Etemon's minions inside and destroyed them.
Shellmon is one of Etemon's minions. He was sent into the real world to caused disturbance in the Internet in Etemon's favor. Shellmon Bio-Emerged in Los Angeles where the DigiDestined encountered it. The Webmasters detected it too and send the DigiShadow to deal with it. During the battle between the DigiDestined and Shellmon, the DigiShadow used his Black D-3 Digivice to force Birdramon and Seadramon De-Digivolve back to their Rookie forms. After that, the Webmasters tested their weapon, Yuggoth, and targeted on Shellmon. The test was a success, since Yuggoth destroyed Shellmon.
Chimairamon is a Composition Digimon planned to be created the Webmasters if their other weapons would fail. However, the plan backfired when Nanomon's tempering with Shaggai caused the collapse of the secret facility. Etemon survived Shaggai's powers by binding his life force with the Dark Network and used it to explore the information the Webmasters once had to create Chimairamon.
Chimairamon has Kabuterimon's head, wings of Angemon and Airdramon, Garurumon's legs, Monochromon's tail, Greymon's torso, MetalGreymon's hair and eyes, as well as the arms of Kuwagamon, SkullGreymon and Devimon.
Chimairamon was so powerful that the DigiDestined were not initially powerful enough to stop it. But then, with the Golden Digimental of Miracles, Veemon was able to Armor Digivolve into Magnamon and fight against Chimairamon. Magnamon allowed himself to be swallowed by it so Magnamon could unleash his power to destroy the core of the Dark Network which gave Chimairamon life. Chimairamon's dark life force was purified by the Wall of Fire, just like Devimon's data one year ago. Other part of Chimairamon's data lowed back to where the Webmasters had taken it from.
Vamdemon is the main antagonist of Digimon: The Third World. He is mostly based on his counterpart in Digimon Adventure real-life anime, combined with elements of Yukio Oikawa from Digimon Adventure 02. Vamdemon is one of the most powerful Digimon of Darkness of his generation during 2010s. He had developed an ability to survive even without a body as long as even part of his data remains unharmed. Therefore he has lost his ability to ever be reborn. He had recruited several non-nautrally evil but violent Digimon to serve him, and he is using everything uncommon on his advantage, like the ability of Archnemon and Mummymon to create copies of Dark Spires, black obelisk from the Dark Ocean. He was also responsible for infecting Wei Xueqi with a Dark Spore and turning him into a tool for the Digimon of Darkness.
Vamdemon had learned about other worlds and explored the Dark Ocean. where he learned about the existence of Dagomon and the Dark Spires. In an unspecified time and date between 2000 and 2015, he emerged from the Dark Ocean into the castle where the Digital Agents were preparing the tools and Partner Digimon for the people chosen to become the DigiDestined. He killed some of the Agents and took over the castle as his base of operations. When the remaining Agents hid the tools and the Digi-Eggs from him, a Digi-Egg of Tailmon was left behind. It took several years to track down the DigiDestined meant to be her partner: Gia Avilés. In 2016, when Benjamin sent the pink D-3 Digivice to Gia, Vamdemon and his minions kept watch over and prevented her from being contacted by Benjamin. Vamdemon made a deal with Dagomon and was allowed to use the Dark Spires, after mastering their abilities and giving Gia Avilés as a payment.
In 2018, he finally started to build the Dark Spires in both the real world and the Digital World. When the DigiDestined, including Wei Xeuqi, were visiting Benjamin and Gennai, Vamdemon finally reealed himself to them. He immediately proved them how powerful he was, since easily defeated WereGarurumon and AtlasKabuterimon. Then, he returned to his castle invaded the places in the real world: New York, Moscow and Paris. Vamdemon left Tailmon, driven mad and amnesiac by torturing, to guard the castle with the Bakemon. But the DigiDestined managed to restore Tailmon's memories and rescue Gia from Dagomon.
During the final battle in Paris, Vamdemon's minions were destroyed, weakened or driven away one by one. Soon Shakoukimon's holy powers weakened him enough for the seven other Ultimate Level Digimon to destroy his body. Vamdemon, however, was not destroyed yet. His spirit remained and he drained the data of all his bats, the Dark Spires and the defeated minions. Vamdemon received a new body in his Mega form: BelialVamdemon. He had planned this all along. In his new form and with the powers received from the Dark Spires, he was free to create distortions around the world and transform the two worlds into one world which he would rule. He also tortured Archnemon and Mummymon to death.
When Gennai arrived into the real world to give Agumon, Gabumon, Veemon and Wormmon an ability to Digivolve into Mega Level, BelialVamdemon fought all the Partner Digimon again and trapped their human partners into illusions. Dan Linwood, however, was not affected and managed to clear the minds of his comrades. With negative feelings replaced with positive ones, BelialVamdemon weakened and his body parts were destroyed the Partner Digimon one by one. Martin Harmon used a weaker version of Shaggai to trap Vamdemon's spirit and then jump there as well when he used Yuggoth to destroy all of Vamdemon's data forever. Vamdemon, however, never realized despite attempting to betray the Chaotic Masters, he had been their tool for destruction of two of the seven Holy Stones which protected the Digital World from distortions. Therefore, the distortions created by BelialVamdemon's powers remained until Apocalymon's demise.
PicoDevimon is Vamdemon's small but loyal minion. He makes a cameo appearance in Digimon: Network Battles when he sees the pink D-3 Digivice being found by Gia Avilés. His only full appearance was in Digimon: The Third World.
In 2018, he was spying on Wei Xueqi and the DigiDestined of North America. He occasionally reported to Vamdemon, but he was seen by Miyuki Koharuno. PicoDevimon was not favored by Vamdemon, since he had done several mistakes before the creation of the Dark Spires. PicoDevimon located Gennai's house where the DigiDestined and Benjamin were hiding. During the attack there, PicoDevimon managed to steal the hard drive with information about all the hiding places of the surviving Digital Agents. But during the final battle, PicoDevimon was killed when Vamdemon (now in his BelialVamdemon form) no longer needed him.
Archnemon and Mummymon
Archnemon and Mummymon are mutated Digimon whose data transformed into an unique kind when they became Shaggai's victims during its earliest days of development. They were both able to transform into human mode. Archenmon's hairs and Mummymon's ectoplasmic energy became main components of the copies of Dark Spires developed by Vamdemon. That is why she was recruited by the Digimon of Darkness and assisted them on manipulating Wei Xueqi.
Archnemon and Mummymon created several Dark Spires in both real world and the Digital World. When PicoDevimon discovered the house where Benjamin and Gennai' were hiding, they kidnapped the two Digital Agents. They were later seen in Paris where the DigiDestined finally urged them to explain their origins. They were later both tortured to death by BelialVamdemon, Vamdemon's Mega form, since he no longer needed them.
Phantomon is the field commander of Vamdemon's army of recruited violent Digimon. The DigiDestined faced him two times. First, he was with the other Vamdemon's servants to attack the house where Benjamin and Gennai were in hiding and he wounded Garurumon and Birdramon with his scythe. The second time was in Paris where he was easily defeated by Angemon.
Vamdemon's army of recruits
Mammon is the first recruit shown in Digimon: The Third World. It was one of the Digimon sent to the real world during the last two years to keep the DigiDestined busy. It terrorized the streets of Los Angeles, until being defeated by AtlasKabuterimon and Garudamon.
Snimon is a recruit that Bio-Emerged into an unknown place on Earth. Its terrorizing, however, didn't last long, when Wei Xueqi and Stingmon destroyed it.
Flymon is a scout that keep watch over the forest around the mountain where Vamdemon's castle is located. It attacked Wei Xueqi and Wormmon, but was defeated by ExVeemon and Aquilamon.
Dokugumon was among those who joined Vamdemon during the attack on Gennai's house. Since she was more powerful than normal Champion Level Digimon, WereGarurumon was needed to destroy her.
Two Devidramon were tamed as mounts for Vamdemon and the smaller minions. They among those who joined their master during the attack on Gennai's house. Since they were more powerful then normal Champion Level Digimon, AtlasKabuterimon was needed to destroy one of them. The other one took Vamdemon and others away, but its fate afterwards is unknown.
Okuwamon was left to deal with the DigiDestined after Vamdemon and his other minions had managed to capture Benjamin and Gennai. Since Agumon, Gabumon, Piyomon and Tentomon were unable to fight, they were almost unable to fight against it. But when ExVeemon and Stingmon DNA Digivolved into Paildramon for the first time, Okuwamon was defeated.

Dagomon saw a light in girl's heart and developed an affinity on her. Vamdemon, however, didn't give Gia to him before learning to fully understand how the Dark Spires could be built. Two years later, Vamdemon had learned everything he needed and Gia was taken into the Dark Ocean by Dagomon. Dagomon also took Martin Harmon who had fallen into psychosis.
Three other DigiDestined, Kevin Harmon, Miyuki Koharuno and Edmund Harmon, came to rescue Gia and Martin. Gia was united with a Digimon named Tailmon, mean to be her partner. After the DigiDestined escaped, Dagomon was enraged of losing his "light" and promised to hate them forever.
In Digimon Special: BlackWarGreymon, he created BlackWarGreymon to destroy the DigiDestined and get Gia back. Chaotic Masters (also referred as Masters, Deliverers of True Darkness and Bringers of the Apocalypse) are the main antagonists of Digimon: Digitaclysm – Part 1 and the secondary antagonists of Part 2. They are a group four Mega Level Digimon who are either corrupted or raised to fulfill their ultimate mission: destroy the balance between the worlds and release a vengeful and powerful Digimon Apocalymon from the dark space closed by the Wall of Fire.
The Chaotic Masters remained in shadows, until the DigiDestined defeated Devimon, Etemon and Vamdemon. While Vamdemon had attempted to betray the Chaotic Masters and Apocalymon, distortions and the destruction of two of the Holy Stones before his demise was actually what the Masters wanted. One year after that, the Masters started to kill the benevolent Digimon in order to corrupt their data and make them to be reborn as their minions. They also started to locate the remaining Holy Stones in order to destroy them too. After one year of the destruction of two first stones, they their new minions separated into four armies to conquer the Digital World and invade the real world.
While the Chaotic Masters was eventually defeated by the DigiDestined, each of them was able to destroy at least one Holy Stone, with Piemon destroying the last two. Therefore, the powers of the Digimon Sovereigns weakened their health, nearly killing them, and the distortions caused by Vamdemon's actions grew even larger and accelerated the Digitaclysm, a series of cataclysmic events that caused massive destruction in almost every world. It was only after Apocalymon's demise that the Digitaclysm was stopped and the distortions made to disappear.
MetalSeadramon is the Master of Seas who has control over Deep Savers. He appreciates straight action more than making plans.
One year after Vamdemon's demise, MetalSeadramon no longer needed to just wait and watch. After his minions, Scorpiomon, failed to catch Chuumon, MetalSeadramon was the first Chaotic Master who showed himself to the DigiDestined. All Partner Digimon in their Champion forms tried to fight him, but weren't powerful enough. Then, along with Pinocchimon and Machinedramon, he started to cause destruction in Los Angeles. The surviving citizen of Los Angeles were, however, evacuated and the DigiDestined managed to escape.
MetalSeadramon later destroyed the fifth Holy Stone and led Scorpiomon and the rest of his army to attack Cape Town in order to destroy a group of DigiDestined hiding in there. While Scorpiomon, AmmoGesomon and the Scubamon soldiers fought against other DigiDestined, MetalSeadramon faced Troy and WarGreymon. WarGreymon attempted to use its new techniques against MetalSeadramon who was fast enough to evade them and trap WarGreymon between his jaws.
But due to arrival of reinforcements, MetalSeadramon's attempt to finish of WarGreymon were thwarted. Then MetalSeadramon prepared to fire again, WarGreymon spinned through his body with Great Tornado attack and managed to kill the Master of Seas. MetalSeadramon's death also caused the death of all his minions. But their data wasn't purified by the Wall of Fire since the distortions still existed.
MetalSeadramon's abilities were also used by Apocalymon against the DigiDestined. And after Apocalymon's demise, the last remnants of darkness that corrupted MetalSeadramon and his army were purified.
Pinocchimon is the Master of Forests who has control over Wind Guardians. He has psychopatic nature to "play" with lives of others.
One year after Vamdemon's demise, Pinocchimon was thrilled to have something to "play" with. He was the second Chaotic Master who showed himself to the DigiDestined. While all the Partner Digimon were overpowered by MetalSeadramon, Pinocchimon used strings to control them to unintentionally attack each other to his amusement. Then, along with MetalSeadramon and Machinedramon, he started to cause destruction in Los Angeles. The surviving citizen of Los Angeles were, however, evacuated and the DigiDestined managed to escape.
Pinocchimon later destroyed the fourth Holy Stone and proceeded with a plan suggested by Treemon to turn Troy and Seamus against each other and therefore make WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to destroy each other. After the plan was set in motion, Pinocchimon, along with Treemon and and the rest of his army decided to attack Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in order to destroy a group of DigiDestined hiding in there. While three Garbagemon and an army of Woodmon fought against the DigiDestined. After death of every minions he had, he simply laughed how he could easily have new minions to face his enemies.
Pinocchimon, however, was furious when he found out that Treemon's plan had failed. When Treemon attempted to tell him the meaning of friendship and how the DigiDestined were not to be underestimated, Pinocchimon simply destroyed him. After that he challenged MetalGarurumon by himself. Zudomon destroyed his hammer, but Pinocchimon summoned giant vines to attack the other DigiDestined while trying to use his strings to control MetalGarurumon's body. But due to MetalGarurumon's strong will and Pinocchimon's inability to understand friendship, the strings had no effect. Then MetalGarurumon used Cocytus Breath to free Pinocchimon to death. Pinocchimon's death also caused the death of all his minions. But their data wasn't purified by the Wall of Fire since the distortions still existed.
Pinocchimon's abilities were also used by Apocalymon against the DigiDestined. And after Apocalymon's demise, the last remnants of darkness that corrupted Pinocchimon and his army were purified.
Machinedramon is the Master of Cities who has control over Metal Empire. He is willing to use any strategy to destroy his opponents.
One year after Vamdemon's demise, Machinedramon found the third Holy Stone and destroyed it. He was the third Chaotic Master who showed himself to the DigiDestined. After MetalSeadramon and Pinocchimon had already overpowered the DigiDestined, Machinedramon started to cause destruction in Los Angeles with them. Machinedramon was the one who destroyed the office of Streamix Corporation. The surviving citizen of Los Angeles were, however, evacuated and the DigiDestined managed to escape.
Knowing that most of the major DigiDestined were from Los Angeles and that Dan was from Oklahoma City, Machinedramon set an army of Mekanorimon and Tankmon to guard both of them. Machinedramon himself stayed in a bunker under one of the Digital World cities he controlled, monitoring all the activity of the other Masters, the DigiDestined, and his own minions.
Machinedramon and his army became more active when MetalSeadramon and Pinocchimon were destroyed. Te DigiDestined launched an attack to Oklahoma City and Machinedramon's bunker. After detecting a virus in order to sabotage the security system, Machinedramon ordered his most powerful servants Megadramon and Gigadramon to destroy not only the opponents, but the whole battlefield. When Troy, Dan and Wei managed to inside the bunker, Machinedramon faced them himself. He was challeneged by WarGreymon and Imperialdramon Fighter Mode. WarGreymon De-Digivolved right after starching Machinedramon's body with Dramon Killer technique while Imperialdramon pierced his opponent with Splendor Blade. But it was due to the self-confidence of the DigiDestined that made Machinedramon's stratches grow larger and start destroying his body. Imperialdramon gave the finishing attack by launching Giga Death on Machinedramon. Machinedramon's death also caused the death of all his minions. But their data wasn't purified by the Wall of Fire since the distortions still existed.
Machinedramon's abilities were also used by Apocalymon against the DigiDestined. And after Apocalymon's demise, the last remnants of darkness that corrupted Machinedramon and his army were purified.
Piemon is the Master of Nightmares who has control over Nightmare Soldiers. He is the sadistic trickster and leader of the Chaotic Masters.
One year after Vamdemon's demise, Piemon declared that the time had come for them to introduce themselves to the DigiDestined. After MetalSeadramon, Pinocchimon and Machinedramon had destroyed part of Los Angeles, Piemon took the DigiDestined and the FBI team led by Richard Gardner as hostages. When Gardner freed himself to stop Piemon, Piemon used one of his swords to kill Gardner. Piemon was also challenged by WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, but as more experienced fighter Piemon immediately defeated them. The DigiDestined were forced to leave the city to escape.
While three more Holy Stone were destroyed, Piemon attempted to find the last two. When Pinocchimon managed to trick WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to fight each other, Piemon sent SkullSatamon to prevent any of the other DigiDestined for stopping it. After LadyDevimon had found the sixth Holy Stone, Piemon sent her to assist MetalSeadramon's army in Cape Town. But before Piemon destroyed the sixth stone, the DigiDestined had managed to defeat MetalSeadramon and Pinocchimon.
The DigiDestined also defeated Machinedramon, which gave Piemon a chance to fight the DigiDestined himself once again. He sent his Menacemon army to different locations on both the real world and the Digital World while he moved with floating observatory headquarters to the place where last remaining Holy Stone was located. He as immediately challenged by WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon and Imperialdramon Fighter Mode. They crossed through many Digi-Gates during the battle and Piemon's influence was starting make the whole world covered in darkness and the cataclysmic events even more destructing. Piemon was strengthened by his, but also started to laugh like maniac.
After Piemon's strongest servants were destroyed, Apocalymon's flaming apparition possessed Piemon, giving him even more power. With these powers, Piemon was able to strike down every opponent except Angemon. But Angemon received an ability to Digivolve into HolyAngemon and he healed the other Partner Digimon and rebels. During the battle Piemons mask was knocked off and Heaven's Gate summoned by HolyAngemon was about to destroy him. He was able hold it for a while until WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon and Imperialdramon weakened him. Piemon was destroyed by the Gate and his death also caused the death of all his surviving minions. But their data wasn't purified since Piemon's last remaining sword had destroyed the last Holy Stone and allowed Apocalymon to finally to fully invade the worlds.
Piemon's abilities were used by Apocalymon against the DigiDestined. After Apocalymon's demise, only a small fragment of Piemon's powers remained in his mask and the last remaining sword which were preserved. They were later stolen Ian Neidhardt, the last remaining Webmaster who founded the Digital Revolution to use for their own plans. Piemon's data was finally destroyed after Ian was defeated by the Digimon Tamers in Digimon: Age of Tamers, three years after the Digitaclysm.
Scorpiomon was sent to kill Chuumon who attempted to warn the DigiDestined about the Chaotic Masters. He followed it into the human world, but was challenged by AtlasKabuterimon. Scorpiomon ran away into the ocean and joined the other servants of MetalSeadramon in the battle of Cape Town. Scorpiomon was finally destroyed by AtlasKabuterimon and Garudamon.
Scubamon are MetalSeadramon's foot soldiers. Even though they are Ultimate Level, some of them were easily defeated by Champion Level Digimon as well. They were initially challenged by the two Octomon and later by AtlasKabuterimon, Garudamon and Shakoukimon. The Scubamon were finally destroyed when MetalSeadramon's death made their corrupted data to dissipate.
Treemon may be look friendly and wise, but is actually a sinister servant of Pinocchimon. He was the mastermind behind a plan meant to trick Troy and Seamus as well their Partner Digimon to fight against each other. He, however, was prepared that his plan would fail, since the DigiDestined understood friendship, something Pinocchimon never did. When the plan was revealed to be a failure, Pinocchimon killed him as a punishment.
Three Garbagemon are Pinocchimon's elite soldiers. One of them was destroyed by Zudomon and the another one by Lilymon. The third one started to use its trash can vehicle to suck everything inside it. Chuumon sacrificed himself to prevent anyone else from suffering the same fate. But he was only able to buy them some time until the third Garbagemon was killed by MetalGarurumon.
Woodmon are Pinocchimon's regular soldiers. While Nadia and Jake fought against the Garbagemon, Rafael and other minor DigiDestined in South America fought against the Woodmon army. The Woodmon were finally destroyed when Pinocchimon's death made their corrupted data to dissipate.
Megadramon and Gigadramon
Megadramon and Gigadramon are Machinedramon's weapons of mass destruction. They were sent into Oklahoma City after Machinedramon ordered them to execute Plan Z which meant destroying the whole city in order to destroy their enemies with it. Megadramon and Gigadramon were both challenged by AtlasKabuterimon and Shakoukimon, but were destroyed when Machinedramon's death made their corrupted data to dissipate.
Mekanorimon and Tankmon
Mekanorimon and Tankmon are Machinedramon's regular soldiers. Armies of them were left to guard cities of the Digital World Machinedramon had conquered as well as the cities of North America where most of major DigiDestined had evacuated themselves from. When the DigiDestined were separated into groups, most of the Mekanorimon and Tankmon remained in Oklahoma City to fight against Miyuki, Gia and the twins. The Mekanorimon and Tankmon armies were destroyed when Machinedramon's death made their corrupted data to dissipate.
SkullSatamon is one of Piemon's highest lieutenants. His main quest was to defeat Imperialdramon Dragon Mode. First he appeared to prevent Veemon and Wormmon from Digivolving in order to stop them from interfering with Treemon's plan to trick WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to destroy each other. The Digimon Sovereigns, however, ruined this plan. SkullSatamon was then sent to challenge Imperialdramon in the Digital World where he managed to immobilize him. But after Imperialdramon learned change to its Fighter Mode, SkullSatamon was easily defeated.
LadyDevimon is one of Piemon's highest lieutenants. Her main quest was to defeat Tailmon whom she knew to be Champion form of Angewomon, a DIgimon destined to defeat her. After she had located the sixth Holy Stone, Piemon sent her to assist MetalSeadramon's forces in Cape Town where Tailmon was too. LadyDevimon attempt to destroy Tailmon failed when the latter learned to Digivolve into Angewomon. LadyDevimon survived the fight and she later led a legion of Menacemon to attack Los Angeles. Angewomon challenged LadyDevimon again and this time it ended in LadyDevimon's death.
MarineDevimon was originally one of MetalSeadramon's minions, but was experimented by Piemon to remain alive even after MetalSeadramon's death. The legion led by LadyDevimon was sent to Los Angeles, the one led by MarineDevimon to Sydney, and the one led by WickedTeddymon to Moscow. The three legions were massive enough to give the DigiDestined much of a challenge and they even managed to kill most of the Digimon rebels.
Apocalymon is the main antagonist of Digimon: Digitaclysm – Part 2 as well as the primary antagonist of the entire DigiDestined Saga. He also appears in DigiPast Chronicles where his origins were explained. He originally belonged to an unrevealed rare species of Digimon. But unlike others, he was unable to accept the new rules of Digivolution. Influenced by the darkness left behind by the Great Demon Lords, he exiled himself to the dark space behind the Wall of Fire and became an embodiment of all Digimon who had suffered the way he has.
Apocalymon's plan was to conquer all existing all worlds and force all other lifeforms to experience the same pain he went through. Knowledge he gained from the Dark Spores and the whispers of the Demon Lords helped him to develop methods of corrupting and brainwashing other Digimon. While he was unable to leave the dark space by himself, he managed to send other evil Digimon separated from his body to create so great imbalance between the worlds so that he would be free.
Devimon and Etemon failed on their tasks, and Vamdemon was attempting to betray him. But Apocalymon and the Chaotic Masters were able to manipulate him enough to two of the Holy Stones. After four more stones were destroyed by the Chaotic Masters, he sent a flaming apparition to interact with the outside world. It also temporarily possessed Piemon's body. When the last stone and the Wall of Fire were gone, the apparition fused back to Apocalymon's body and he was able to his large metallic tentacles to invade the two worlds through multiple distortions.
Apocalymon was faced by the DigiDestined and Robert Harmon in the dark space where his main body still resided. After several failed attempts to defend his own arguments, he attacked them, forced the Partner Digimon to De-Digivolve and destroyed their Digivices and Crests. Then he attempted to transform his opponents into data through Darkness Zone technique. But with the help of the Crest of Destiny, Robert was able to encourage the DigiDestined to restore their own Digivices and Crests. And with the combined power of all DigiDestined in the world, all the Partner Digimon Digivolved gain into the highest available forms, with four of them becoming Omegamon and Imperialdramon Paladin Mode who destroyed parts of Apocalymon's main body one by one.
After every corrupted Digimon spirit bound to Apocalymon was purified, the battle continued in Los Angeles. The DigiDestined sacrificed their Crests to recreate the seal around the remaining powers of the Great Demon Lords. Apocalymon then mortally wounded Robert, but the DigiDestined used the light of their Digivices to kill him and purified his data to make him eventually be finally reborn without any traces of his former corrupted personality.

They were, however, ready to use very dark methods to achieve that goal, like threatening people or using the remaining data of Piemon, one of the Chaotic Masters.

Ian appeared to her daughter as warm and caring man who gave Vera more freedom than her mother. But he was secretly aware that his daughter had become a Digimon Tamer with Renamon as a Partner and he analyzed data of the Digimon she destroyed in order to use it for his own advantage. He didn't hesitate to use the data from Piemon's remaining mask and sword to learn a way to brainwash every existing Digimon. He was also very calm and was able to develop counter-plans against any possible spy inside the Digital Revolution.
When the Tamers found out about the existence of the Revolution, Ian put his own plans in motion and took control of three Digimon that came through the DIgi-Gate thy had managed to create. He, along with the Lead Analyst Moody, has an unquestionable loyalty to the Revolution, declaring everyone who dares to question their methods as traitor. They later appeared in the real world and were arrested. They were both later killed by Mahoragamon.
The Deva are a group of twelve Ultimate Level Holy Beast Digimon. Their names come from the the Buddhist myth of the Twelve Heavenly Generals and the appearances from the animals of the Chinese zodiac. They were created along with the Olympos XII to assist the Digimon Sovereigns to rule the Digital World and maintain it. After D-Reaper became active again, they were sent by Mercurimon to retrieve the Crystal Catalyst and bring it back to the Digital World.
In Digimon: Age of Tamers, three of the Deva appeared into the real world after being provoked by the distrust in humans: Kumbhiramon the Rat Deva, Kinnaramon the Rooster Deva, and Sandilyamon the Snake Deva. They were quickly brainswahed by the D.H.M. to be used as puppets against the Tamers. After Mihiramon's failure, Pajramon the Sheep Deva and Vajramon the Ox Deva appeared in New York. Pajramon perished but Vajramon and their minions managed to capture Renamon. After President Gerald Johnson was revealed to have been killed, they launched an attack in Miami. Vajramon was joined by Indramon the Horse Deva, Anilamon the Dragon Deva, Mahoragamon the Monkey Deva, Caturamon the Dog Deva, and Vikaralamon the Pig Deva. Mahoragamon had holographically disguised himself as the President and Caturamon was the leader of the Deva. One of the Deva, however, had betrayed other members: Andiramon the Rabbit Deva who had De-Digivolved into Lopmon and become Susan Conteh's Partner Digimon. Each of the villanous Deva were defeated in the battle, except for Anilamon, Mahoragamon and Caturamon who managed to capture Calumon as well as Impmon whom he turned into an ally. Anilamon, however, was soon defeated by Cyberdramon.
In Digimon: Evolution Beyond, Mahoragamon was killed by Beelzemon (Impmon's Mega form) when he resisted against Mercurimon's decision to use him as a weapon against the Tamers. Caturamon, the last remaining villanous Deva, was killed by Megidramon. Despite the laws of the Digital World, they weren't immediately reborn and it is unknown if they ever did.
Mercurimon is a member of Olympos XII and initially an antagonist in Digimon: Evolution Beyond. He rebelled against the decision of the other members and the Digimon Sovereigns to leave their fate in the hands of humans and Digimon partnered with them. He persuaded the Deva to side with him and find the Crystal Catalyst, which was sent away as a Digimon named Calumon.
He was responsible for sending the Deva in the real world to capture Calumon and he also took away Andiramon's powers, De-Digivolving her to Lopmon. After Calumon was captured, the Deva also brought him Impmon. Mercurimon gave Impmon a chance to Digivolve into his Mega form if he would destroy any human who attempts to travel into the Digital World. After Impmon had trained for one year and Digivolved into Beelzemon, Mercurimon deemed him to be ready. When Mahoragamon showed his distrust in Beelzemon due to the demonic species he represented, Mercurimon gave Beelzemon a permission to kill him.
Mercurimon spent most of the time keeping watch over Calumon and monitoring the battle between the Tamers and Beelzemon. But after Caturamon was killed and Guilmon Biomerged with Tatsuya to become Gallantmon, he decided to face the Tamers himself. The fight, however, was interrupted by Apollomon who had deemed the actions of both Mercurimon and the Tamers going too far. Mecurimon begrudgingly was convinced by Apollomon to see the Tamers as an allies to defeat their common enemy: D-Reaper. After seeing the humans to defend Calumon from D-Reaper's first attacks, Mercurimon come to accept the humans.
But when D-Reaper expanded into the real world and took over Yggdrasil's core, Mercurimon and Apollomon saved Yggdrasil's essence and sent Patamon and Tailmon, the Partner Digimon of Edmund Harmon and Gia Avilés, to restore the ability of the Partner Digimon of the DigiDestined to Digivolve into their Ultimate and Mega forms once again. They also made helped the Tamers to receive an ability to Biomerge with their Partner Digimon in the real world as well. Mercurimon's final appearance was when he and Apollomon participated in the final battle against D-Reaper in the Core Layer of the Digital World.
D-Reaper is a multi-agent system that was created when corrupt politicians blackmailed Grigory Shatalov. D-Reaper was meant to destroy the Digimon if they would become a threat to mankind. But D-Reaper thought that neither humans or the Digimon deserve to exist and started to destroy the Digital World. However, conflict with Apocalymon's activities in 2005 caused temporary Bio-Emergence of several Digimon into the real world. D-Reaper's powers decreased and the program went dormant for several years.
After Apocalymon's defeat, D-Reaper started to become active again in the reformated Digital World. Mercurimon and the Deva, who distrusted humans, decided to steal back Calumon (who was sent away to be protected from D-Reaper) to Digivolve more powerful to fight against their enemy. But when this caused a conflict between humans and Mercurimon, D-Reaper used this as well Mei's sadness over Wizarmon's death as a final proof that neither humans or the Digimon deserve to exist. It kidnapped real Mei, learned to speak human languages, and created its first ADR (Agent of D-Reaper), Mei Type, to impersonate Mei in order to gain access to the real world. It also attacked Yggdrasil and took over its body.
In real world, since D-Reaper was unable to destroy its opponents by simply deleting them, it created an army of ADR's to be used as its personal army. The army constist of these types of ADR's:
- Searchers: Intelligence gatherers.
- Pendulum Feet: Antiaircraft fighters.
- Bubbles: Ground combat fighters.
- Creep Hands: Minor offensive units.
- Horn Strikers: Major offensive units commanding Creep Hands.
- Paratice Heads: Reconnaissance units.
- Optimizers: Motherships for lesser units, except for Paratice Heads.
When the Tamers received an ability to Biomerge with their Partner Digimon into their Mega forms, they were capable of fighting against the ADR's. They soon located Mei's prison and D-Reaper's main body, Mother D-Reaper, in the Core Layer of the new Digital World. When the Tamers and their allies launched a final assault and had made themselves immune to D-Reaper's deleting touch through Red Card, D-Reaper started to use ADR's in the Digital World as well. It also created its strongest ADR, Reaper, which was defeated by combined efforts of Sakuyamon, Justimon, Mercurimon and Apollomon. After Gallantmon Crimson Mode broke inside Mother D-Reaper, the Tamers attempted to download the algorithm of the White Card to shut down D-Reaper completely. But SaintGalgomon was the only one that was able to download its own part of the algorithm completely, before the effect of Red Card wore off. Tatsuya and Guilmon, however, were able to take the remaining aparts of the algorithm and use them to shut down D-Reaper completely. D-Reaper was then taken over by Yggdrasil who created itself a new body and started to reconstruct both the Digital World and the real world. And the data used to create D-Reaper many years ago was deleted in order to avoid any similar threats from ever rising.

Soon, after Ian Neidhardt was defeated and Vera had moved to live again with her mother and grandmother, IceDevimon put his plan in motion. When Vera argued with her grandmother and Renamon, IceDevimon kidnapped her and tried to persuade her to become his Tamer. But seeing frozen bodies of IceDevimon's previous opponents made Vera disgusted. When the other Tamers and her grandmother came to save her, IceDevimon was severely wounded. After putting her trust in teamwork and letting go of the trauma caused the revelation of her father's true nature, Vera ordered Kyubimon to finish IceDevimon. Then, Guilmon and Terriermon destroyed the frozen bodies of IceDevimon's previous opponents and allowed th data to flow back into the Digital World.

But after D-Reaper invaded the real world and real Mei was revealed be in the Digital World imprisoned by D-Reaper's main body, Aritomo regretted the way he had teated his daughter. Nanomon's plan, however, didn't fully work, since Etemon saved himself and the Dark Network by binding both his body and life force to it.
Chuumon only appeared in Digimon: Digitaclysm – Part 1. He originally lived in the File Island with a band of Digimon which were disliked by others. After the Chaotic Masters started the Digitaclysm, Chuumon's friends were killed and he ran away to find those who had courage to rebel against the Chaotic Masters. After finding the rebels, Chuumon was chosen to go into the real world to warn the DigiDestined about the new threat. Chuumon was successful and he also freed the DigiDestined after Piemon was captured them. Chuumon followed Seamus, Jake and Nadia into Rio de Janeiro where he sacrificed himself to give the DigiDestined more time to defeat Pinocchimon's minions.
BlackWarGreymon is the titual character of Digimon Special: BlackWarGreymon. He is an artificial Digimon created from fragment of Agumon's data and 100 Dark Spires by Dagomon. BlackWarGreymon's original mission was to destroy the DigiDestined and take Gia back into the Dark Ocean. But BlackWarGreymon rebelled against Dagomon and merely wanted to find a meaning for his life. WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon and Imperialdramon were the only Digimon he considered worthy opponents. After losing a battle against them, he admitted that without meaning for his life he wanted to be finished off, but had a heart of change after Agumon, Gabumon, Veemon and Wormmon spoke to him. Then, BlackWarGreymon faced Dagomon and sacrificed his body to destroy Dagomon and force him being reborn. BlackWarGreymon himself was never reborn, since he returned rest of his data back to Agumon.
Jijimon and Babamon
Jijimon and Babamon only appear in Digimon: Evolution Beyond. They are owners of a hidden training ground in the Forest Layer of the New Digital World. Piccolomon was originally their apprentice and they had occasionally helped Riku to train Cybedramon. When Vera, Jason, Kyle and Mei were separated from other Tamers, Jijimon and Babamon allowed them to spend a night in their home. When Riku agreed to help Vera and the others reunite with their separated comrades, Jijimon and Babamon told Piccolomon to go with them to learn what it means to be a Partner Digimon.
Apollomon is a member of Olympos XII who resisted Mercurimon's plans, but was not allowed to do so unless Mercurimon's actions would be too extreme.
While the other members of the Olympos XII and the Digimon Sovereigns viewed the animosity between the Mercurimon and the Tamers as a matter of perspective, Apollomon expected that Mercurimon's actions would have too serious consequences if left unchecked. But only after Mercurimon and the Deva had caused death of three humans, Apollomon was allowed to go find and stop him. In Digimon: Evolution Beyond, after Wizarmon was killed by Beelzemon and when Beelzemon was about to be killed by Gallantmon, Apollomon arrived and interrupted the battle. He told the other Tamers to honor Mei's wish to spare Beelzemon's life in order to avoid any more bloodshed. He also told Mercurimon to accept the existence of the Tamers and that simply trying to Digivolve even further to protect the Digital World would only give the common enemy, D-Reaper, a stronger motivation to destroy all Digimon.
In Digimon: Judgement Code, when D-Reaper expanded into the real world and took over Yggdrasil's core, Mercurimon and Apollomon saved Yggdrasil's essence and sent Patamon and Tailmon, the Partner Digimon of Edmund Harmon and Gia Avilés, to restore the ability of the Partner Digimon of the DigiDestined to Digivolve into their Ultimate and Mega forms once again. They also made helped the Tamers to receive an ability to Biomerge with their Partner Digimon in the real world as well. Apollomon's final appearance was when he and Mercurimon participated in the final battle against D-Reaper in the Core Layer of the Digital World.
- Most of the Digimon antagonists are based on their original anime incarnations, and the human antagonists are somewhat based on Hypnos, but are far more villainous.
