This page is dedicated to the Yamato "Matt" Ishida and Mimi Tachikawa coupling, also known as Mimato (a portmanteau of Yamato and Mimi, the original Japanese names). The two are mainly in Digimon Adventure and often in Digimon Adventure 02.

Episode 2: The Birth Of Greymon
When the kids have a discussion of the food, T.K. says he wouldn't mind sharing food with Mimi and comments to Matt," Isn't she cute?" and Matt somewhat blushes, saying, "Forget it!" (Dub insert)
Evidence from Digimon Adventure 02
Episode 7: Guardian Angel
After Matt talks to Tai he remembers that he left Mimi on hold from New York. However, this was a dub insert.
Speculation
- Although Matt and Mimi may possibly have a relationship, ultimately Matt marries Sora.
