This page is dedicated to the Yamato "Matt" Ishida and Taichi Kamiya coupling, also known as Taito (a portmanteau of Yamato and Taichi, the original Japanese names) or sometimes Yamachi. The two are mainly in Digimon Adventure and often in Digimon Adventure 02. It is a yaoi pairing, and one of the more popular yaoi couples in the franchise.

Evidence from Digimon Adventure
Episode 09: Subzero Ice Punch
Tai and Matt wrestle on top of each other for their entire fight. Matt cries in front of Tai and confesses his fears .
Episode 38: Prophecy
Tai and Matt hold hands as they are both shot with Angemon's and Angewomon's arrows of light.
Episode 44: Trash Day
As Matt walks away from Cherrymon, the Digimon gazes after him and says thoughtfully, "I never imagined the bond between these two hearts to be so strong."
Episode 51: The Crest Of Friendship
Matt is the only one of the group to tend to the injured Tai. Again, his eyes get watery while talking about how much Tai means to him. It powers up Matt's Crest of Friendship and heals Tai's Digimon WarGreymon.
