Veemon is a 2-feet tall humanoid lizard-like creature. Its has mostly blue skin, with a white belly and mouth. Veemon's head is large and roughly sphere, with two conical fleshy appendages attached to the back, possibly acting as ears. A small horn pokes where its nose would be.
In the English dub, Veemon speaks with a slight lisp. This is mostly evident in how it pronounces its friend's name as "Davish".
Veemon loves Gatomon, in the same way that Davis loves Kari. However he finds that Gatomon is more fond of Patamon in the same way that Kari is more fond of T.K. He is a fun loving Digimon with a penchant for food. He shares many traits in common with his partner, Davis. He supports anything Davis supports, but isn't the brightest bulb in the tanning booth.
- Vee-Headbutt (V-mon Head): Charges and headbutts the opponent with tremendous force.
- Rapid Punch: Charges a punch then hits the opponents with full power.
- Rollout: Veemon curls into a ball and rolls with incredible speed, dealing heavy damage to anything he hits.
The name "Veemon" refers to only the rookie form of this digimon. Throughout the series, Veemon gains the ability to Digivolve into a number of more powerful forms (each with a different name). The rookie form, however, is its most common and preferred form.
Chibomon is the fresh form that Veemon hatches out of his Digi-Egg into. He then permanently digivolves into Veemon.
ExVeemon is Veemon's natural champion form. ExVeemon came into existence when Davis provoked a rather stubborn Tortomon in an attempt to get Veemon to digivolve to the champion level.
Paildramon digivolved from ExVeemon, after taking a hit from GeoGreymon. When Gatomon arrived at the scene, Paildramon tried to remember the happy times he had with Gatomon. Unfortunately, the madness Paildramon was suffering from was too strong, and he attempted to kill Gatomon. But when his attack rendered Kristy and Biyomon unconscious and left GeoGreymon near death, Marcus' anger charged him with enough DNA to digivolve GeoGreymon to RizeGreymon, who destroyed the possessed Paildramon. Paildramon then became a Digi-Egg and Gatomon was glad her boyfriend's suffering is over. So, Marcus takes Veemon's Digiegg form back home.
Then, Veemon digivolve to ExVeemon and then into Paildramon to attack Petaldramon.
