Kongoumon is an Insectoid Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the "Digi-Egg of Miracles". It is a heavyweight Power Fighter with a metal body that shines gold all over. It brings about miracles with its "Vajra", the sacred weapons it holds in its six hands, and is versed in all Shinto rituals. It is said that Kongoumon has been an agent of God on earth since ancient times, separate from Angel Digimon.[6]

Its design incorporates elements from sumo wrestling, possibly as a reference to Kongō Masahiro. The DigiCode on its breechcloth reads こんごう (金剛 Kongou?).

Kongoumon will only appear in the game once you have Patamon or Renamon at lvl. 45 or higher. For Renamon, he will be found in Amaterasu's North Sector, in the Legendary Gym. For Patamon, he will be found in Amaterasu's North Sector,at Kulon Mines. Giving him Crystal Rod and Twinkle will make the Immaculate weapon.

Kongoumon digivolves from Stingmon if holding the Digi-Egg of Miracles. Also, a Kongoumon is fought along with a Flamedramon and a Kenkimon in the Arena. It can´t digivolve into any other Digimon.

Kongoumon is #291, and is an Ultimate-level, HPtype-class, Insect/Plant-species Digimon with a resistance to the Thunder element and weakness to the Wind element. Its basic stats are 231 HP, 234 MP, 134 Attack, 127 Defense, 111 Spirit, 91 Speed, and 63 Aptitude. It possesses the Powerful 4, Protect 4, and Economizer traits.
It dwells in the forest area of Transfield.
Kongoumon digivolves from Wormmon by using the DigiEgg of Miracles, if your Digimon is at least level 32, with 190 attack.
Kongoumon can DNA digivolve to Pharaohmon with Datamon, or to Susanoomon with Crowmon.
Kongoumon can be hatched from the Helm Egg.
