Synopsis[]
The Fusion Fighters United Army watch in horror as NeoMyotismon absorbs MetalGreymon into himself. Shoutmon X5 tries to strike him down, but NeoMyotismon reveals that he also absorbed the Lopmons that were taken to him. These Lopmons are used to fuel his life, granting him functional immortality in return for the Lopmons' suffering. Hearing this angers Lopmon into attacking, during which he also glows white. Between NeoMyotismon's fear of this white Lopmon and Lopmon's attack, the group is able to escape, though Christopher remains shocked and angry at the loss of MetalGreymon. While taking a breather, Lopmon reveals the legend of the white Lopmon, said to have immeasurable power. Realizing that NeoMyotismon fears this white Lopmon, they try to find him within the Underground Temple. Christopher and Nene hold off the Moonlight Army's advancing forces as they enter the temple, only to be greeted by NeoMyotismon. During the ensuing battle, Mikey hears MetalGreymon's DigiMelody, so Shoutmon allows NeoMyotismon to absorb him while Lopmon hitches a ride. They discover MetalGreymon and the Lopmons within, only to find their data disintegrating within. MetalGreymon has already lost hope of escape, but Lopmon pleads for their help anyway. All of the Lopmons respond by merging into the legendary white Lopmon, granting them their power. They digivolve into OmniShoutmon and ZekeGreymon, but NeoMyotismon continues to hold them in his grasp. Lopmon then gives his life to allow the pair to perform double fusion into Shoutmon DX and escape. With the loss of the Lopmon, NeoMyotismon is vulnerable to Shoutmon DX's attacks, and he reduces him to ash, which Beelzemon then finishes off. The Vampire Land is then freed from Bagra Army control. The group is saddened by the Lopmons' deaths, but they resolve to continue on their journey to free the Digital World and head to the next kingdom.
