The Digimon X Arena comes equipped with an 18-inch color monitor and also adapts AR (Augmented Reality) technology, to which special AR Code Cards containing Digimon on them can be used. The AR code may have a web address stored on it leading to a website with an official Bandai illustration of the Digimon on the page, for example the Shoutmon AR Code Card. It connects to the Digimon Xros Loader via infra-red, so you can communicate with the Digimon you have raised and battle with others for free. In addition, since you can connect to the Xros Arena, you can also obtain new Digimon on the Digimon Xros Loader.
