Giromon is a Machine Digimon whose name is derived from the onomatopoeia for glaring (「ぎろぎろ」 "Girogiro"?) and whose design is derived from a Naval mine. It patrols within the Computer Network while floating lightly in the air, and is designated with the alias "Net Keeper". It is surely a frightening Digimon, as when it judges an intruding Digimon to be an opponent, it will repel them with all the attacks it is able to muster, and if it is driven into a predicament, it will completely annihilate the intruder by blowing itself up.[1]

A Giromon was seen helping the Mamemon brothers fight MetalGreymon, MagnaAngemon and Kiwimon. He and the Mamemon brothers were knocked out of the skies by MetalGreymon's Giga Blaster attack and they landed in the Seine River as MagnaAngemon destroyed the Control Spire there.

Giromon is the net keeper in Factorial Town, he is first seen wreaking havoc, destroying all the computers and data tracks as well as making no sense. Giromon joins the city after he has been beaten and Andromon has repaired the damaged computer parts Giromon broke. Giromon builds a jukebox for the restaurant, which can play back all the music tracks that appear in the game. In the North American versions of the game, using the jukebox will freeze the game.

Giromon digivolves from Piddomon, and can digivolve further into Seraphimon.

Giromon can be found on Amaterasu's West Sector, in Dum Dum Factory. He has the ability to counter most of your critical attacks. He also avaiable in card with Brown S-energy and has 29 AP/29 HP.

Giromon digivolves from BomberNanimon at Lv 38, Attack 175, and Machine EXP 4000, or can be found in Chaos Brain.
