Goldramon is a Holy Dragon Digimon whose Japanese name and design are derived from "God Dramon" and whose English name is derived from "Gold Dramon". Its design is also derived from the mythological Ào Rùn (敖閏^?), Dragon King of the West Sea. One of the "Four Great Dragons", it is a God Dragon Digimon with six hardened wings and a shining, golden body. It wears a Holy Ring around its left arm.^[1] Also, the tiny dragon Digimon sealed within the vambrace on Goldramon's right hand is called "Amon of Red Flame" (紅炎のアモン, Kouen no Amon^?), who governs over "Destruction", and the one sealed within the vambrace on its left hand is called "Umon of Blue Thunder" (蒼雷のウモン, Sourai no Umon^?), who governs over "Regeneration".^[2][3] The character on its pauldrons reads "Seal" (封, Shū^?), and the characters on its vambraces read "God Dragon" (神龍, Shinryū^?).

Goldramon digivolves from AeroVeedramon at LV 63 with 45000 holy exp, but you must first befriend Airdramon before AeroVeedramon can digivolve. In Dawn, a Holy species quest of Pheonixmon requires you to fight Goldramon at Highlight Haven to get Airdra-Data.
