Alias III are a group of Tamers chosen by Neo Saiba to stop Taichi Yagami. They each fight a one-on-one fight against Taichi, each hoping to defeat the "bug." Eventually, however, they find out that they were just a way to stall for time so that Arkadimon would have the power needed to defeat him. They were also used as a means for Arkadimon to get more food.

[edit] Sigma
Sigma is a member of the Alias III and is the first member to fight Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru for Neo Saiba. His Digimon is Piedmon and their feelings are connected to each other giving them a powerfull empathic link. When Zero was fighting Piedmon, part of his mask breaks off the same time as part of Sigma's mask. Taichi give Sigma the opportunity to quit the battle for Piedmon to be spared which Sigma is grateful for. Sigma was also winded and looked fatigued as if he also felt his partners injuries and fatigue. When Neo found out, he ordered Arkadimon to fight Piedmon. Sigma is right behind a glass window with Neo unable to do anything. At the point of Piedmon's death, both Sigma and Piedmon screamed. This all seams to indicate that Sigma had an exeptionally strong bound with his partner. Arcadimon absorbs Pie's data and digivolves to Rookie as Sigma is imprisoned in the dungeon. He later escaped with Rei Saiba and Mari and sides with Taichi to stop Arkadimon. While still inside the castle, it was because of his intellect that he decided to gather as much data as he could from a sleeping Arkadimon. His data was not in vain, as the weakness he discovered was later used by Taichi and Zero to defeat Arkadimon. He keeps his friendship with them as proven in the last chapter where he is seen without his mask.
Sigma's mask has a built-in speaker that is hooked up to his palm-computer so that it says what he types, making him very good at speed typing. He finally spoke when the lower half of his mask was destroyed to ask that Taichi and Zero that they not harm Piedmon, when after the battle they try being friendly with him and talk he turns them down and leaves, but a few seconds after that he sends an e-mail to Taichi saying that he would think about it. His ability to type was at one point on par with that of Taichi, as he was able to easily counter each one of his orders.
In the past he was too shy to speak up for himself, even when he found out that his "friend" was only using him he just kept smiling and took it. When he discovered chatting he felt free being able say what he wanted and that no one knowing who he was made it easier, one day while chatting he got and message from Neo say how his (Sigma) skills could be put to good use by helping him (Neo) to create a new digital world.
[edit] Piedmon
Piedmon is partnered to Sigma of the Alias III. At first, things looked bad for Zeromaru since the commands of Sigma proved to be better and quicker than the ones which Taichi was sending to Zero. However thanks to the strong bond and trust between Zero and Taichi, the duo was able to defeat Piedmon. After the battle both Sigma and Piedmon changed their behavior and returned to Daemon's castle. As punishment, Daemon had Neo Saiba fight Piedmon with the newly hatched Arkadimon. Despite being only a Fresh level Digimon, Arkadimon killed Piedmon by stabbing him and absorbed his data to digivolve to his Rookie form. Piedmon's death affected Sigma greatly, as it is heavily implied that Piedmon was Sigma's first friend.

[edit] Mari Goutokuji
Mari Goutokuji is the second member of the Alias III to fight Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru for Neo Saiba. Her partner is Rosemon, and she kicks Ninjamon after he tries to attack her. She is then stopped by Rei Saiba who yells at her, and Rosemon is defeated by Zero. She and Rosemon helped out in the final battle against Arkadimon, where Rosemon was presumed to have been killed. Mari still maintains her friendship with the others on her return trip to the Real World where she can bee seen accompanying Sigma.
During her battle with Taichi and Zero she first appeared as a ditzy, flirty, bimbo talking about such things as that in the real world she is a kind of net pop idol and how that when Neo becomes king of the digital world she wold be his queen, but this is all an act she uses to distract others. She becomes very cold and almost sadistic when she drops her act going as far as stomping on an already injured enemy.
[edit] Rosemon
Rosemon is partnered to Mari of the Alias III. While Neo Saiba was leading Daemon's troops to Lord HolyAngemon's castle, Rosemon confronted Zeromaru as a diversion. Rosemon's personality was much like that of her Tamer. Before she appeared in front of Taichi and his friends she captured a Ninjamon who had wanted to warn Lord HolyAngemon, and presented the badly wounded Digimon to the group. Although she acted foolish at first, she later showed her true fighting abilities and almost made Zeromaru her love slave. Zero managed to fight off her seduction and defeated her. When Mari turned against Neo, Rosemon helped Omnimon in the fight against Neo Saiba and Arkadimon. She helped ensnare Arkadimon with her vines, but Arkadimon managed to break them and impale her. Rosemon, in her dying moment, ripped off the arm Arkadimon had impaled her with in order to give Omnimon a better chance of besting their mutual foe.
Attacks
- Rose Velvet: Rosemon covers the ground in thorns.
- Rosy Cradle: Rosemon summons a storm of roses to send her foes to sleep.
- Thorn Whip: Using her whip, Rosemon ensnares her opponent and summons lightning to strike them.
[edit] Hideto Fujimoto
Hideto Fujimoto is a member of the Alias III and has two Digimon partners instead of one. They are Warg the WarGreymon and Melga the MetalGarurumon who can DNA Digivolve into Omnimon. Hideto is the third and final member of the Alias III to fight Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru for Neo Saiba after the rest of the Alias III failed. He blames himself for what happened to Rei Saiba (Neo also blames himself, too). He is relentless to destroy Taichi and Zero, going as far as pushing his two digimon several times past their limits, and it was that battle where he is shown the true meaning of friendship. He later helps out in the final battle against Arkadimon where Omnimon would have been killed if Hideto didn't have him De-DNA Digivolve. He keeps his friendship with the others in the Real World and his partner was the only digimon of the Alias III to not be deleted.
His contribution after he reforms played a big part in defeating Neo. Since he was the only one who had a digimon after the battle, it was his experience that he passed onto Taichi that helped Zero survive the first encounters against Arkadimon. He also used Omnimon to help the ones fighting Neo fly when Zero was badly injured. He, along with Leo and Lord HolyAngemon, stalled for time while Zero recovered. He was also able to help convince Neo that what he was doing was wrong. He is also an accomplished Tamer in the real world, only being defeated by Neo at his school and only behind Taichi and Neo in terms of power. He is also shown to have similar feelings to digimon as Taichi, not wanting to delete Warg and Melga when Neo told him they were too weak. His kindness to them paid off as it was this kindness that let them evolve.
[edit] Omnimon
Omnimon is partnered to Hideto of the Alias III. Omnimon is made up of Warg the WarGreymon and Melga the MetalGarurumon. During the battle, Omnimon realized that Zeromaru was a good guy and lost the battle on purpose. This caused Hideto to switch sides. Later on, Omnimon fought Arkadimon when Neo dismissed the Alias III but was critically wounded and barely managed to flee with Hideto. Later he helped defend Lord HolyAngemon's Castle from an attack by Neo, where he again fought Arkadimon until Zero took over. In the end, he is the only digimon of the Alias III who was not destroyed.
Before the events of Digimon Adventure V-Tamers 01, Hideto used Warg and Melga to secure the spot of best Tamer at his school, only to be dethroned when Neo arrived. Though Neo suggested he delete them for being weak Hideto refused, saying they were his friends. This kindness was what lead them to one night jogress into Omnimon, and it was this evolution that was partially responsible for Rei's accident. Their friendship is shown again when both Warg and Melga refused to continue fighting against Zero, knowing well that Hideto is fighting for the wrong reasons.

- Grey Sword: Uses the sword on his right hand (WarGreymon's head).
- Garuru Cannon: Shoots a colossal amount of energy from his left hand (MetalGarurumon's head).
