Hououmon is a Holy Beast Digimon whose name and design are derived from the mythological Hō-ō. It is a holy Digimon that possesses four wings that shine gold. It is the head of all Bird Digimon, and is said to be the one that supervises Holy-species Digimon. While Magnadramon is the ultimate form of Beast Digimon, Hououmon is the ultimate form of Bird Digimon. It wears Holy Rings around its ankles, and it is understood that the power possessed by Hououmon is unfathomable.^[6]

Digimon WorldEdit

Phoenixmon can digivolve from Airdramon, Angemon, Birdramon, Kokatorimon or Unimon. Phoenixmon can also be raised with the Red Ruby digivolution item. To get Phoenixmon without the Red Ruby you will need the required stats which are: 2500 HP, 4000 MP, 400 Off, 250 Def, 400 Speed, 250 Brain, 25-30 Weight and 0-5 care mistakes. Alternatively, Kokatorimon has a 10% chance to digivolve to Pheonixmon on Death.

Digimon World 2Edit

Hououmon digivolves from Raidramon, AeroVeedramon and Garudamon. Her speciality is Nature and her special assist, Crimson Flare, allows to revive KO'd ally Digimon in battle.

Digimon Digital Card BattleEdit

Phoenixmon appears as the second opponent in Flame City Battle Arena. Her deck theme is named "Big Red Sky Deck". If you defeat her seven times in Battle Cafe without exiting, she will give you the Speed Seven Card. The Phoenixmon card belongs to the Fire Ultimate Card Group. Its Support Effect allows you to revived KO's Digimon with 1000 HP, although the battle is still lost.

Digimon World 3Edit

Phoenixmon is obtainable by raising any partner Digimon's Rosemon form to lvl. 99. Its available through the DNA Digivolution of Taomon and MagnaAngemon as well, using a technique that restores your partner Digimon to full HP, as well as curing all abnormal statuses. Phoenixmon is also available as a Red Mega Card with 49/48.

Hououmon digivolves from Garudamon if above Lv. 39+ and Bird EXP 10000+. Hououmon also appears at the Sky Palace.

Digimon World Dawn and DuskEdit

Phoenixmon digivolves from Deramon at LV 52 with 11000 holy and bird exp. It can be found in the far end of Highlight Heaven.

Digimon World ChampionshipEdit

Hououmon digivolves from Angewomon, MagnaAngemon or Garudamon with 40 Bird AP and 1 egg revert.

Digimon MastersEdit

Hououmon can be ridden.
