Jijimon is an Ancient Digimon that resembles an old man that is said to have existed since the dawn of the Digital World. "Jiji" comes from the Japanese for old man. As his existence is as long as anyone from the Digital World can remember, he is a wise and intelligent Digimon who is said to know everything about the Digital World and protects those weaker than himself, though he rarely fights. For some reasons, it is believed that he can summon humans to the Digital World in times of crisis.

Digimon WorldEdit

Jijimon is the mayor of File City and is responsible for pulling the player into the Digital World. Before actually landing on File Island, Jijimon asks the player a few questions which determine whether an Agumon or Gabumon is the starting partner. After the main briefing, Jijimon only serves to explain the recruitment percentage for File City. Later on, Jijimon provides a Chain Melon every time Analogman is defeated. Since the game was developed only shortly after the introduction of the Mega level, Jijimon is regarded as an Ultimate Digimon. If obtained with a cheat device, Jijimon cannot learn any attacks or register for Battle Mode.

Digimon World 2Edit

Jijimon returns from the original Digimon World and is kidnapped by the Blood Knights in File Island. Akira is given the job to rescue him. Other Jijimon are obtained from Monzaemon digivolving into him.

Digimon Digital Card BattleEdit

The Jijimon card belongs to the Rare card group and has HP 1260, circle attack 650, triangle attack 560 and triangle-sealing cross attack 250. It can be obtained if you recite to Wizardmon the spell "JIJIMON". Babamon uses the Jijimon card in her deck.

Jijimon digivolves from Piximon. Jijimon also appears as a boss at Ancient Canyon, along with Babamon, and the two are also NPCs during a quest.

Digimon World Dawn/DuskEdit

Jijimon appears in the Mountain area of Transfield. It also digivolves from Piximon at LV 48 with 220 attack and 8000 holy exp.
