Kabukimon is a Mutant Digimon whose name and design are derived from the kabuki theater style. It armor digivolved through the power of the Digi-Egg of Sincerity. It has large flowers blooming from its head and hands, and walks on two feet. It can usually absorb nutrients by planting both feet firmly in the ground while squatting and assuming a pose. Unusually for a Plant-species, it dislikes being under the sun, and instead normally prefers to lie hidden, and loves artificially illuminated spaces. It is characterized by movements and an appearance that make it more noticeable, and even its behavior is gaudy. When it is behaving excitedly in the middle of battle, its method of striking a pose and treating it as its highlight scene possesses enough beauty to make its adversaries momentarily falter.[3]

Digimon World 3

Kabukimon can only be found in Amaterasu's South Sector, in Ether Jungle if Junior has a Kotemon at level 45. If Junior gives him Rusty Katana and Onimaru, he will make Kotetsu.

Digimon World Dawn and Dusk

Kabukimon is #262, and is an Ultimate-level, Technical-class, Insect/Plant-species Digimon with a resistance to the Thunder element and weakness to the Earth element. Its basic stats are 211 HP, 244 MP, 115 Attack, 113 Defense, 119 Spirit, 111 Speed, and 47 Aptitude. It possesses the Psychic 4, DeathWard3, and LuckyMedal3 traits.

A Kabukimon is the partner to Mister Lin in DarkmoonCity.

Kabukimon digivolves from Gatomon with the Digi-Egg of Sincerity, if your Digimon is at least level 31, with 2000 Insect/Plant experience.

Kabukimon can DNA digivolve to Sakuyamon with Kyukimon, or to Zanbamon with Tekkamon or Dinohumon.

Kabukimon can be hatched from the Oriental Egg.

  • Cherry Blossom Storm (桜吹雪 Sakura Fubuki?, lit. "Cherry Blossom Blizzard"): Violently sweeps the back of its head, then emits a blinding, stinging light from the faces on its hands that knocks out the opponent while they're fascinated by the beauty of that storm of petals.
  • Lion Dance (連獅子 Renjishi?)[4]: Makes a circle with its head, sharply tapering the petals on its head where the force accumulated due to the centrifugal force, then pierces them into the opponent like shuriken.

  1. Kabukimon's Armor level is equated to that of a Champion in the card games and an Ultimate Digimon in Digimon World Dawn and Dusk.

  4. Renjishi, literally "Successive Lions", is the name of a Kabuki dance. It is different from the Chinese lion dance.
