The name "Kapurimon" originates from the Japanese word "kaburimono", which refers to a type of hat or helmet.

Kapurimon are recruitable enemies in Vamdemon's Mansion, Shrine of Evil - Left and Right, and Piemon's Palace.[4]

Kapurimon are normal enemies in Ryo's side of Fire Cave 2, Plume Cave 2, Death Crevasse 2, and Ken's side of Fire Cave and Death Crevasse.

In lines 39 and 44, Kapurimon digivolves from MetalKoromon to ToyAgumon; in 43, 62, and 69 from MetalKoromon to Kokuwamon, and in 29 and 33 from MetalKoromon to Hagurumon.[5]

Kapurimon is an enemy in Dark Takato's Crevasse.

The Kapurimon card, titled "PF Muzoku Card", raises resistance to attacks with no attribute by 25%.[6]

A Kapurimon was a student at Togemon's preschool. He was the one who bullied Tsunomon the most not because he hated him but because him, like the others, was scared of him. However, when Tsunomon rescued him after he got swept off the roof of the school during a flood and was caught in a tree, the two became friends.

Kapurimon can digivolve to Hagurumon, Kotemon, or PawnChessmon (Black).

Kapurimon can be found in sunken tunnel. Kapurimon can also digivolve to Hagurumon or Kotemon.
