Kotemon is a Rookie Level Reptile Digimon. He is in training to become a swordsman. He is silent, and refuses to remove the guard on his face, so no one knows what he really looks like. His name comes from the Japanese kote, which means the fencing gloves (gauntlet) in kendo and his mask is a men, another item used in kendo.

Another Kotemon serves Musyamon's Bagra Army platoon in the Shinobi Zone. It is one of the guards of Musyamon's castle, and spots Zenjirou while on patrol, but he slays the Kotemon with the Rare Star Sword before it can alert the other guards. Dunce Monitamons, Keep At It!

Digimon World 3Edit

Kotemon is in the Balanced pack with Renamon and Patamon, and can later be obtained through a sidequest if you chose a different pack. Kotemon can digivolve into Dinohyumon at level 5, Kyukimon at level 20, and SlashAngemon at level 40. He is also available as White Rookie Card with 5/5.

Digimon World DSEdit

Kotemon digivolves from Kapurimon, and can digivolve further into Dinohyumon or DarkLizardmon depending on its stats. Kotemon can be found on the Training Peak.

Digimon World Dawn/DuskEdit

Kotemon is #55 in Digimon World Dawn and Dusk, and is a Technical-class Machine species Digimon with a resistance to the Metal element and a weakness to the Wind element. Its basic stats are 122 HP, 84 Attack, 69 Defense, 57 Spirit, 58 Speed, and 25 Aptitude. It possesses the Death Ward 1 and Critical 1 traits.

It dwells in the Sunken Tunnel.

Kotemon digivolves from Kapurimon and can digivolve to Omekamon or PlatinumSukamon. In order to Digivolve or degenerate into Kotemon, your Digimon must be at least level 12 with 60 attack.

Kotemon can DNA Digivolve into Dinohyumon with Hawkmon or DotAgumon, to Musyamon with Shamanmon, or to Kougamon with Falcomon.

Kotemon can be hatched from the Sea Patterned Digi-Egg.

Digimon BattleEdit

Kotemon digivolves from Kapurimon at level 11 and digivolves to Dinohyumon or Musyamon at level 21 depending on the place it was captured.

Kotemon is an obtainable mercenary Digimon.
