Kougamon (Kogamon in Digimon World Dawn/Dusk) is a Mutant Digimon that looks like Ninjamon, except that he wears purple clothing and fights in the ninja Kouga-style, in a reference to one of the two main schools of ninjutsu in Japan, the Kōga-ryū.

Kougamon appears in Loop Swamp. In the Insect Species quest "Loop Swamp Rumor" one, mistaking you for Musyamon, attacks you as you return the katana Palmon found to Musyamon. It also digivolves from Mushroomon. DNA Digivolving it with Ninjamon will give you a Cherrymon.
