Kyubimon is a Bewitching Beast Digimon that is said to digivolve from a Renamon who gained a lot of experience. She resembles a yellow nine-tailed fox with a white mane and mystical blue flames flaring around her paws and tail tips. She is called Kyuubimon in Japanese. "Kyuubi" means nine-tailed, comes from "Kyuubi no Kitsune", the mythical nine-tailed fox.
Kyubimon has been worshiped as a messenger who appeared long ago in peaceful times. She doesn't have much attack power, but she possesses a huge spiritual power, and her pride is her many abilities.

Kyubimon is Renamon's digivolution at LV5. It is also available as a Blue Champion Card with 15/16.

Kyubimon is a digivolution of Patamon or Renamon and can digivolve into either Monzaemon, Cherrymon, or Garudamon. Taomon does not appear in the game.
Attacks
- Dragon Wheel (狐炎龍 Koenryuu?, lit. "Fox Flame Dragon"): Kyubimon starts to spin very fast, which causes the flames on her body to erupt into a fiery inferno. This turns her body into a ball of swirling blue fire. When in this state, Kyubimon summons a mystical dragon, which emerges from her body to destroy her enemies.
- Fox Tail Inferno (鬼火玉 Onibidama?, lit. "Will-o'-the-wisp Ball"): The blue flames on Kyubimon's tails become brighter, and ghostly faces appear on them. The faces then become small fireballs which Kyubimon launches at her opponents to destroy them in an explosion of energy as well as trap them in a cage of blue flames which singes them.

Kyubimon and its Ultimate form Taomon are normally data-attribute and yellow in colour. But some rare ones are vaccine-attribute, silver in colour and of the Virus Busters family.
