Hints & Tips

Appmon Data Lab

Agumon: Hey, are you the Haruharuman who lost the battle with Etemon 327 times and the battle with Vamdemon for 467 times?
Haru: Well, okay, I lost about that many times, but I beat the Diaboromon quest only after 150 tries, so I think I've been improving!

- Haru's poor performance on his Digimon Universe game.

Gatchmon: So, you weren't eating game characters then?
Agumon: You eat stuff like that?

- Agumon has no knowledge of a typical Appmon diet.

Other Notes

Animation errors

  • Uratekumon's Appmon Search says he's a social type Appmon, but then his chip is a game type.
  • A flight information board in the airport scene displays one of its destination as "北海道" (Hokkaido), rather than a specified city destination within the prefecture.
  • Another flight information board displays a temperature of 0°C for "広島" (Hiroshima), despite the episode being set in a summer timeline.

Digimon references

  • The song Brave Heart plays during the entirety of the fight against Uratekumon.

Real-world references

  • Another flight information board displays an aircraft model of "マーイング (Māingu) 707-500", a parody of Boeing 707, despite the real model never operated by any Japanese airlines and that current commercial service is very rare.
  • The main characters paid a visit to the Nakano Broadway.
    • A toy store which they pass by is named Comidarake, which may be a parody of Mandarake.

Miscellaneous trivia

  • While executing his cheat code, Uratekumon pressed a sequence of buttons (Konami Code) that includes an extra set of A and B buttons at the end.
  • This is Globemon's last Appliarised appareance.
  • The eye catch features Gatchmon and Agumon in a single Appmon chip.
