[edit] V-20: Battle on the Tree
Before the battle starts, Neo reveals that the only reason he joined Daemon was to get revenge on Taichi for ruining his perfect streak, not caring that he will put both worlds in danger. As Neo summons a Kokatorimon and a Kuwagamon, Zero begins attacking them until Neo jogresses them into a Megadramon. As the tide of battle turns in Neo's favor, Zero manages to get a hit on Megadramon. [edit] V-25: Alias 1-Sigma
While waiting for the super ultimate Neo sends out Sigma, along with his partner, Piemon, to get rid of Taichi. Piemon uses an attack called Mask Square, which transport them all to a strange dimension that allows Piemon to warp, allowing him to easily avoid the attacks. Sigma then reveals that he is able to intercept commands from Taichi's Digivice 01, allowing him to know what he will do next
[edit] V-26: Offense and Defense in Mask's Square

Sigma, thinking he is matching him even, makes a mistake of sending out of Piemon's swords towards Piemon because he was not paying attention to the actual battle. Defeated, he leaves and Taichi continues on his journey.
[edit] V-27: Neo's Charge!!!
Upon returning to Demon's castle Piemon is absorbed by Arkadimon, which causes him to evolve. With Arkadimon evolved Neo decides that it's time to invade HolyAngemon's castle. Taichi encounters one of Lord HolyAngemon's spies, Igamon, and informs him that Arkadimon has evolved to child, along with the planned attack. As Igamon leaves Mari, another member of Alias III, and her partner, Rosemon, attack Taichi. All of Mari's attack continue to backfire on her, but later reveals she has captured Igamon before he had time to warn HolyAngemon of the attack.

Thinking they've won, they are surprised when Arkadimon escapes from inside. Knowing what he has to do HolyAngemon evolves to Seraphimon. Using his Seven Heavens attack they are surprised to see that Arkadimon not only survived but evolved to adult. Absorbing some of his data Seraphimon de-evolves back to HolyAngemon. As VenomVamdemon is about to destroy the remaining digimon Zero and Taichi arrive.
[edit] V-31: Power of Legend, Digimental
After Taichi and Zero defeat VenomVamdemon (with one punch), Arkadimon evolves to perfect using the energy he absorbed from Seraphimon. Rather than fighting Taichi there Neo retreats back To Demon's castle. As Taichi is about to follow suit HolyAngemon stops him, informing him of the digimental, an item used to evolve digimon to their Super Ultimate form. Elsewhere, Rei, Gabo, and Igamon are waiting for Taichi only to have Omegamon arrive with his partner, Hideto.
[edit] V-32: Alias 3-Hideto
Hideto informs Rei that the pendant around her neck is the digimental. To Igamon and Gabo's surprised, Rei leaves with him without a struggle just as Zero and Taichi arrive. Catching up to them they begin fighting, only to realize that Omegamon is too fast, and the attacks that do hit have little effect. As Rei is begging for the fight to stop, Hideto informs them about Zero's Overwrite ability calling it a "double edge sword." As Rei finally convinces them to stop the fighting she informs Taichi that Neo is her brother. As she and Hideto leaves Taichi stays there, waiting for Zero's wounds to heal.

As they talk, Hideto begins remembering how they meet. it is revealed that as soon as Neo arrived at Hideto's school he challenged him and defeats his Warg and Melga, with Neo then telling him to delete them. However, when Hideto visits his house, he meets Rei and he and Neo become friends. One morning Melga and Warg evolve to Omegamon. While walking to school Hideto screams out to Rei and Neo. Hearing Hideto, Rei begins to walk towards Hideto only to have a car hit her after it took a red light. Neo then reveals that the only reason he is doing what he's doing is to help Rei walk again in a world he want to create.
[edit] V-34: VS Omegamon 1: Dead or Alive
When Hideto arrives to fight Taichi, the two have a small talk about who is right. As the fight starts Omegamon is, once again, winning, only for Zero to later start winning as he gets angry. Hideto then tells him that the Overwrite ability allows ancient digimon to increase their strength. However, there is a downside to this ability. Much like CD and DVD overwrites, the more it's done, the more it degrades the digimon doing it, making ancient digimon have an extremely short lifespan. due to this, he also informs them that Zero will not be able to evolve to Ultimate and that Zero is close to his limit. As the fight continues Omegamon uses his Garuru Cannon, which appears to have destroyed Zero. Thinking he's won Zero pops out of the damaged area and manages to hit Omegamon.
[edit] Volume 6
[edit] V-35: VS Omegamon 2: Justice
As the fight continues Hideto claims that they will not lose because they are on the side of good. Though Omegamon is defeating Zero, Zero does not give. However Zero’s wings eventually land near some sharp rocks that go through his wings, trapping him. As Omegamon is about to finish him off Igamon interferes. Gabo, who is conflicted as to why Hideto claims they’re on the side of good, decides that he, too, will help.
[edit] V-36: VS Omegamon 3: The Reason for Fighting
As Igamon and Gabo attempt to fight Omegamon they soon find that they are no match for the Ultimate. As Zero becomes more worried for his friends Hideto informs them about Rei’s accident, and he says he blames himself for what happened. When Taichi tells him he’s going about it wrong because the digimon also have feelings Hideto gets angry and is about to destroy them. As he’s about to fire his Garuru cannon Zero activates his Overwrite code, breaking him free, and firing his V-breath arrow to counter Omegamon’s attack. When the attacks collide they are even, and upon looking at his digivice, Taichi discovers a new attack for Zero, “Dragon Impulse.”
[edit] V-37: VS Omegamon 4: Dragon Impulse
Knowing he has no attacks left Taichi decides to use dragon impulse, which, to his surprise, defeats Omegamon with one shot. However, Hideto spilt Omegamon back into Warg and Melga, and plans to do infinite jogress like Neo. However, to his surprise, they refuse. Taichi then informs him that Omegamon did not try to move when he was attacked, and that since he cannot understand them he is not their tamer. Remembering that he ignored Neo's suggestion of deleting them, he realizes that it was because of that that they jogressed to Omegamon. As he realizes his mistakes Taichi turns to Zero, who is now unconscious.
[edit] V-38: Ruinous Earthquake! Daemon Castle!!
As Rei is in her room she finds two digimon by the name of Pal and Pul, who broke into Demon’s castle to get Neo’s autograph. As Taichi talks to Hideto, he convinces him to not blame himself for what happened to Rei. As they put Zero in a device that will allow him to heal faster, Hideto leaves in an attempt to convince Neo. Confronting Demon, Neo uses Arkadimon to delete him using an attack called dot matrix. As he absorbs his data he evolves to Ultimate.
[edit] V-39: Neo vs. Alias III
As Hideto arrives he joins up with Sigma and Mari, who informs them he is going to try and stop Neo. Trying to convince him to stop both Sigma and Hideto fail as Neo informs them he had is planning to control Arkadimon using the digimental. As both Rosemon and Omegamon try to stop Arkadimon they are surprised when he takes a Garuru cannon head on only to appear without a scratch.
[edit] V-40: Omegamon VS Arkadimon
Still attempting to fight Arkadimon, Omegamon manages to damage him using his Grey sword. When Neo insults Mari, Rosemon stands up for her, only to be deleted by Arkadimon. Once again attacking him head on, Omegamon uses his Garuru canon at a short distance, only to attack soon after with his grey sword. However, as it hits, the sword breaks and then Arkadimon pierces his chest.
[edit] Volume 7
[edit] V-41: Digimon Tamer
As Neo is about to finish of Hideto and Omegamon, he is confronted by Rei, who rushes to Hideto's aid. Much to Rei's surprise, Neo reveals that he isn't under control and he eliminated Demon. As Alias III realizes that there is nothing stopping Neo now, Rei believes that Taichi can, which causes Omegamon to stand up. Hideto decides that rather than trying to defeat Arkadimon, he will warn Taichi and Zero about Arkadimon.
[edit] V-42: Zero's Revival!
Escaping their jail, Sigma, Mari, and Rei try to discover Arkadimon's weakness and discover something called the Dot Matrix just as some NeoDevimon enter. After Hideto explains what happened at Neo's castle, Taichi is still waiting for Zero to recover. As they are talking they are soon seen by some of Neo's henchmen, NeoDevimon. But before they even touch him, Zero wakes up and defeats them. As they're celebrating they are greeted by Jijimon and a Birdramon.
[edit] V-43: Hope On
Jijimon tells them that due to ancient type digimon's Overwrite ability, none of them have been able to go beyond perfect. After telling Taichi that Zero has now powered up, Jijimon says that if he uses Dragon Impulse he will die. Knowing he can't use their new attack, Taichi and Zero leave to face off against Neo while Igamon goes to inform Lord HolyAngemon. Before they are captured Sigma hands Rei a disk containing some of Arkadimon's data and instructs Rei to give it to him, hoping he can figure something out. As she leaves, Neo is trying to decide which monster he should send out to find her. As the digimon are volunteering a digimon kills of a Boltmon. Neo then orders this new digimon, Callismon, to find his sister.
[edit] V-44: A New Monster
As Rei is escaping she is confronted by Callismon, who knocks her out. But before he can take her back, Taichi and Zero arrive to fight against him. Amazed by Callismon's strength, he informs them that he was created by Neo with some of Arkadimon's data. Though at first it appeared as Callismon was winning, Zero told him that due to his new power up, his body felt heavy, but that he got accustomed to it.
[edit] V-45: To Demon Castle
With the new power up, Zero proves to be too fast for Callismon, easily dodging his attacks and defeating him with one blow. After instructing Gabo to take care of Rei, Taichi and Zero leave to confront Neo.
[edit] Volume 8
[edit] V-46: Clash!
As Zero and Arkadimon continue fighting, Taichi orders Zero to speed up, confusing Sigma. Remembering what Hideto told him, Taichi uses Zero's speed, which has increased dramatically, to use direct hits rather than projectiles, which appears to be working. However, Sigma realizes that though the punches do damage, they are hurting Zero. He then concludes that Rei was not able to to get Taichi the information.
[edit] V-47: Hope and Despair
When Rei wakes up, she realizes that she still has the data Sigma gave her. Deciding she needs to go give it to him, Rei head out for Demon's castle, with Gabo tagging along due to his promise to protect her. Though Zero is an even match for Arkadimon, Sigma remains worried. When Arkadimon hits, part of Zero's arm gets deleted. As Zero continues to fight one of his wings gets hit with the same attack and starts to be deleted. Then, to further destroy their hopes, Neo orders Arkadimon to pierce Zero's chest, much like he did with Omegamon.
[edit] V-48: Delete
Rei gets there only to realize she got there too late. However, though Taichi is trying to get Zero to leave the battlefield, Zero refuses to give up. This causes Arkadimon to hit him directly with an attack, and his body slowly starts to deplete into zeros and ones. Securing victory, Neo summons another army of digimon and head towards Lord HolyAngemon's castle.
[edit] V-49: Dot Matrix
Hideto arrives with Omegamon, picks up his frieds, and leaves to get help from Jijimon. As they put Zero in a healing capsule, Sigma informs them how the dot matrix works and why Zero did not stand a chance. They are soon interrupted by one of HolyAngemon's messengers, a Patamon, who informs them that Neo's forces have arrived. Rather then sending out his whole army, Lord HolyAgemon decides to make them retreat knowing well that Neo will not destroy them because he is not after them. Instead, he decides to only go out and face them by himself, with Hideto and Leo deciding to join the fight.
[edit] V-50: Continuing Courage
Lord HolyAngemon, who is now Dominimon, Leo, now an ultimate, Regulumon, and Omegamon confront Neo's forces. As they attack at the same time they have a basic strategy to simply avoid Arkadimon's attacks. Meanwhile, Jijimon informs them that Zero is fighting off the deletion, but he does not have enough energy to continue fighting. When Gabo decides to lend him some of his energy, Taichi leaves the room, thinking of himself as a failure. Rei follows him and tells him that he shouldn't give up, but Taichi does not see a reason to continue fighting. Rei then drags Taichi back into the room, where he sees several of the digimon he has encountered in his journey giving Zero their energy. Rei then tells him that it was because of him and Zero that all these digimon managed to come together. Still trying to fight Arkadimon, Omegamon gets close to him and fires of his Garuru cannon at a close distance, only to have Arkadimon survive it.
[edit] V-51: Light
As Zero continues to collect the energy from the other digimon, he awakens to find his body repaired. Still fighting Arkadimon, Hideto reveals that his earlier attack was used to determined where the dot matrix was coming from. With the new realization, the three now attempt to distract him and then attack him from behind, as to pass the dot matrix. However, Neo informs them that he saw through their plan and manages to counter-attack Dominimon. But before Arkadimon manages to finish off Omegamon, Zero saves Omegamon, surprising everyone.
[edit] Volume 9
[edit] V-52: Combination V
After Hideto informs Taichi about where the dot matrix comes from, Taichi is confident they can win. After Neo tells him that his speed will not help him, Taichi claims that his plan is to catch the dot matrix. As Arkadimon attacks, Zero dodges the attack. Taichi then explains that using the data from Sigma, he was able to figure out that whenever Arkadimon uses the dot matrix, he uses the exact same energy as the target and absorbs it, making him appear like he received no damage. Since Zero dodged it, Arkadimon has now wasted energy. When he dodges another dot matrix attack, Arkadimon loses energy, letting Zero attack for the kill.
[edit] V-53: The Super Ultimate Form Can Exist
Before Taichi can finish him off, Neo uses the digimental, evolving Arkadimon to Super Ultimate. To show off his new power, Arkadimon uses "God Matrix,", which deletes a large area turning it into zeros and ones. Knowing they can't win, Taichi orders Zero to use "Dragon Impulse" as a last resort, knowing the consequences. However, though the attack hits directly, it does not damage Arkadimon at all. Though it does not work, Zero continues to attack with dragon impulse. Eventually, the strain of the attacks is too much for Zero and his body explodes. Even though it seems hopeless, the data that remained from Zero starts to go back to where he exploded.
[edit] V-54: The Holy Light, UlForce
After Zero destroys himself due to his overwrite sequence, a new power, known as the Ulforce, is reconfiguring his body. After light starts forming where his body was destroyed, Zero evolves to ultimate. With this new power, Taichi orders Zero to find a blind spot only to have Neo inform them that Arkadimon has no blind spot. He then uses God Matrix and hits Zero, only to have him survive the attack, unscratched. Hideto, who is witnessing the fight, tries to convince Neo to stop the fighting after it is made clear Arkadimon's power will not be able to defeat Zero. Neo then says he will not give up because he has to create the perfect world. When it is discovered that he's trying to create a "world where tragedies never happen", Rei starts blaming herself for her brothers actions. Because she feels guilty that he is hurting Digimon because of her, she jumps of the cliff they are standing on, saying sorry.
[edit] V-55: Truth
Watching Rei fall down, both Neo and Zero race to her aid. Realizing that Zero is the only one fast enough to save Rei, Neo orders Arkadimon to stop his attack, only to have him continue attacking. Fighting him off, Zero manages to safely catch Rei and lays her down on the ground. When Neo questions her about why she did it, Rei responds to not being able to live knowing that his actions were a result of her accident. Once he realizes what he was doing was wrong, Arkadimon de-evolves back to ultimate, on the count that he does not have a pure heart anymore. Thinking they’ve won, they are surprised that Arkadimon begins to speak, with Lord HolyAngemon explaining that it is Demon’s voice. Explaining that it had been part of his plan to be absorbed by Arkadimon, he informs Neo he has been using him since the start. Rearranging Arkadimon’s data, he evolves to Demon Super Ultimate.
[edit] V-56:Dark Virus
Demon’s newly found powers are proven to be too much for Zero to handle, as the demon lord easily holds him off and takes a Shinning V-force directly, receiving no damage. However, Taichi and Zero remain confident, knowing they have the power of the Alforce on their side, with Jijimon informing them that Demon’s dark virus ability has sealed the power of the Alforce. Then Demon further shows his power by opening a gate to the real world. Attempting to stop Demon, Zero continues fighting but the demon lord’s powers soon manages to pierce Zero’s chest.
[edit] V-57: FUTURE
Still losing the fight, Zero continues fighting, not giving up. When Demon focuses his next attack at those on the sidelines, Zero intercepts the hit. When they see they are okay, they see that Taichi is running towards the digimental, hoping to use it to further evolve Zero. Just as he grabs it, the ground below him crumbles, making him fall to his death. But before he falls, Neo catches him and for the first time they show each other respect. Securely on the ground, Taichi uses the digimental to evolve Zero into a Super Ultimate, AlforceV-dramon Future Mode. With his newly found evolution, Zero heads off to fight Demon, Super Ultimate vs. Super Ultimate.
[edit] V-58: Thank You!
With a single hit, Zero defeats Demon, deleting him and ending his threat. As Zero devolves back to Ultimate, they all celebrate except for Neo, who, according to Leo and Hideto, still feels guilty about what he did. Back in the real world, being a year after Taichi first arrived to the digital world, Taichi meets with everyone. Sigma, without his signature mask, Hideto, and Mari are already there by the time Taichi shows up and Neo and Rei, on her wheelchair, show up some time later. Once again, Taichi is not allowed to compete but Neo informs him that he will challenge him as soon as he wins. Like anticipated, Neo wins and Taichi challenges him on the spot, reminiscing of the first time they met.

Resting from the attack, Daisuke does not trust this Taichi due to them looking the same age (at this point, Daisuke reveals he was born in 1991 and Taichi reveals he was born in 1988, which would correspond with the Adventure Taichi's same birth year). With V-mon and Zero getting along quite well, Daisuke says he does not want to return to his world because his team never takes his side. When Taichi tries to comfort him, Daisuke gets angry, calling this Taichi a fake. They are then attacked by Parallelmon, yet Daisuke does not appear to want V-mon to evolve. Taichi then notices that Daisuke's goggles are similar to his, and deduces that the Taichi from Daisuke's world gave them to him because the "goggles are a sign of good friends" and he would not give them to someone unless they cared about their friends and vice-versa.
After scanning Parallelmon with his digivice, they discover the names of several tamers from different universes, including Daisuke's friends. Angered, he, once again, attacks Parallelmon foolishly with XV-mon, only to have the attack do nothing. When Zero saves them, Taichi tells him to not blame himself, and then Daisuke vows to save his friends. Inside of Parallelmon, his group hears his voice, and begin to give their energy to him. After "a miracle" happens, the golden digimental forms inside of Daisuke's D-3, giving them the confidence to defeat him. Deciding they need to destroy the source of Parallelmon's main attack, Daisuke de-evolves V-mon and armor evolves him to Fladramon, attacking the source directly. Though it appears Fladramon is about to be absorbed, V-mon releases his armor causing Parallelmon to be distracted. With Parallelmon not paying attention, Zero attacks with his V-wing blade, decapitating Parallelmon. However, he is still moving and Taichi lets Daisuke finish him off. Daisuke then armor evolves V-mon to Magnamon, who finishes him off with his extreme jihad as a "present from all the tamers [Parallelmon] absorbed!" Gabo is then surprised they were able to work so well together even though they just meet. Finally defeating him, they realize that everything went back to normal. They then depart saying that "No matter what world they come from, Tamers are joined together by digimon."
[edit] Frontier Generation
[edit] Hot-blooded! The Shining Battle!
This special chapter begins with an explanation about how three digimon, similar Callismon in that they had a piece of Arkadimon's data in them, were scheduled to fight off against Lord HolyAngemon, Leo, and Hideto and Omegamon.
While Taichi, Zero, and Gabo are resting up, a gate opens up where they are and Ryo and his partner, currently in his child form, Monodramon, come out. Upon meeting, Ryo concludes that this Taichi is not the same one he knows and tells them about his fights with Millenniumon and how he has defeated him three times. Before Ryo leaves, they are attacked by Vikemon, and both Tamers insist on defeating him without the other's help. This leads to an argument where both are debating who should defeat him based on how well they are doing against their foe (Ryo says he's defeated him three times, whereas Taichi has yet to even meet Demon and Taichi counters, saying that after three times, he's still not dead) and Gabo notices that their "Hot=Bloodedness" is weakening Vikemon. After they punch each other a new respect is found between them, and they notice that Vikemon has been defeated. Ryo and Monodramon leave and Taichi and Zero continue on their journey.
