Digimon World Re:Digitize is two chapters. Both chapters have been collected in the Digimon World Re:Digitize World Contact Guide. It serves as a prologue to the game of same title.

Everyone logs into Digital Monster. Taiga and Niko are about to battle, but an error occurs and the game freezes. Mirei, Angewomon, and LadyDevimon are investigating GIGO's records, but they are caught by Yuuya and Black, who starts chasing them. Taiga receives a battle request from Nyanko Tamer and accepts it. He and Agumon battle Nyanko and Digitorin, but are interrupted by Black, Angewomon, and LadyDevimon, who arrive breaking the Colosseum's wall.

Black corners Angewomon and is about to finish her, but is interrupted by Digitorin, allowing Mirei to open an escape route to her Partners. Akiho challenges Yuuya, but Black easily knocks out Digitorin. Niko and Sashenka join the battle and Agumon warp digivolves to WarGreymon, but is fatally injured by Black. As Black is to finish them off, Taiga begs for WarGreymon to lend his power, and he has a sudden recovery and then releases an unusually strong "Gaia Force", injuring Black so much that he is forced to retreat. Everyone celebrates and Taiga and Akiho decide to continue their battle another day. Mirei then decides to send an e-mail with the Digitize Program to Niko, Akiho, Yuuya, and Taiga.
