MegaKabuterimon (Blue) is an Insectoid Digimon. It is a Digivolution of Kabuterimon that was discovered within the tropical region of the Net Area. It is almost 1.5-times the size of Kabuterimon, and is quite large among Insectoid Digimon. While its flight abilities have regressed to a certain extent, the strength of its horn, which is its main weapon, has soared. Also, muscular tissues have appeared on the bases of its forelimbs, so its grappling ability has also improved. With the exception of its survival instincts, its behavior has been observed to consist of protecting the weak, and there are even times when its behavior has appeared knight-like.[4]

Design[]
MegaKabuterimon (Blue) is designed around a Japanese rhinoceros beetle (Trypoxylus dichotomus). It is a bipedal Digimon with four arms. Its head is eyeless and has a skull helmet with a large horn that forks at the tip. Its shell consists of fused elytra with a red crystal ball at the base. It is blue in coloration with red muscle tissue on its shoulder and torso. Its torso and pelvis are skeletal in appearance. It has a stinger on its pelvis.

A MegaKabuterimon (Blue) in StepStep dug a large amount of holes in the ground, and the Hero falls into them. In one of the hole is a Magiforcepine, a GranKuwagamon digivolution crystal, which MegaKabuterimon (Blue) lets the Hero keep.
MegaKabuterimon (Blue) is a Nature Data type, Ultimate level Digimon. It digivolves from Kabuterimon, Stingmon and Youkomon and can digivolve into Craniamon, GranKuwagamon and Kentaurosmon. If the poop gauge hits max, it will digivolve into PlatinumSukamon.

Digimon World Dawn and Dusk[]
MegaKabuterimon (Blue) is #205, and is an Ultimate-level, Tank-class, Insect/Plant-species Digimon with a resistance to the Thunder element and weakness to the Wind element. Its basic stats are 234 HP, 227 MP, 132 Attack, 127 Defense, 110 Spirit, 92 Speed, and 58 Aptitude. It possesses the ThunderSign 4, Protect 4, and Hard Rock3 traits.
It dwells in the Resistor Jungle. In Dusk he is one of the starter Digimon you get along side Chrysalimon, after completing one of the species quests that involves stopping him from fighting Sinduramon he can be found in Resistor Jungle.
MegaKabuterimon (Blue) digivolves from Kabuterimon. In order to digivolve or degenerate to MegaKabuterimon (Blue), your Digimon must be at least level 33, with 140 spirit.
MegaKabuterimon (Blue) can also DNA digivolve from any two of Flymon, Tortamon, and NiseDrimogemon, if the base Digimon is at least level 29, with 160 spirit and 170 defense. MegaKabuterimon (Blue) can DNA digivolve to Dorugoramon with Flamedramon, or to SkullMammothmon with Myotismon or SkullGreymon.
