AncientBeetlemon is an Ancient Insect Digimon whose name and design are derived from "Ancient" and "Beetle".[4] It possesses the attribute of "Thunder", and is one of the legendary Ancient Warriors that saved the ancient Digital World. Its appearance is fused from many insects such as the Rhinoceros beetle and Stag beetle. Its shell has a hardness rivaling that of Chrome Digizoid, so the falx on both of its arms can cut through anything, and it can easily lift up objects hundreds of times its own weight. AncientBeetlemon's abilities were given to the "Insect" types of Digimon.[5]

Beetlemon is a Champion-class Hybrid Digimon. He is the Legendary Human Warrior of Thunder, using the power of AncientBeetlemon. His Japanese name is Blitzmon, which means lightning in German.

Beetlemon can be obtained by giving the Human Spirit of Thunder to a Wormmon or Stingmon.
Attacks
- Lightning Blitz (Lightning Topper): Beetlemon's horn emits a powerful electric charge.
- Thunder Fist (Thor Hammer): A powerful electrified punch is launched at the enemy.
- Proton Slam (Mjöllnir Thunder): Beetlemon tackles the enemy while his body is charged with electricity.

MetalKabuterimon is an Ultimate-class Hybrid Digimon. He is the Legendary Beast Warrior of Thunder, using the power of AncientBeetlemon. His Japanese name Bolgmon comes from "bolg", the Irish word for thunder. His English name is made up of both the words Metal and Kabuterimon.

- Bolo Thunder (Ultimate Thunder): Releases from both his arms energy that resembles a two-weight bola.
- Electron Cannon (Field Destroyer): A powerful electric blast that can be fired from the distance. This attack requires a brief charging period.

RhinoKabuterimon is a Mega-class Hybrid Digimon, holding the power of AncientBeetlemon. As the Legendary Advanced Warrior of Thunder, known as the Fusion Form (融合形態 Yuugou Kantei?) in Japanese media, RhinoKabuterimon is a combination of both Beetlemon and MetalKabuterimon. His name comes from rhinoceros beetle and Kabuterimon (or kabutomushi).
RhinoKabuterimon is a Thunder King who can create special magnetic fields by his horn.
Attacks
- Thunder Laser: His horn shoots out lightning and makes a large thunderclap.
- Condenser Storm: He jerks his body up and calls a great storm from the sky.
