The Monitamon are ninja Digimon with monitors for heads that are used to spy on the other armies and for communication between Nene's team and the rest of Xros Heart.


Monitamon are short ninjas with CRT monitors for heads. They display their emotions as images on the screen. Six Monitamon are members of the Fusion Fighters: Three green elites that travel with Nene and three red "dropouts" that travel with Mikey.


When Nene first appeared, she was shown to have three green Monitamon (later revealed to be elites) and a Monimon. Not long after she and most of Twilight joined Xros Heart, the team went to the Shinobi Zone where the three red "dropout" Monitamon joined Mikey. Monitamon are constantly used throughout the series to deliver messages to other members of Xros Heart and Blue Flare in Part Two. Mikey Goes To Another World! The Rival Champions!   • Fire Shot[1] (火弾 Kadan?): Creates a fireball.
  • Water Dragon (水竜 Suiryū?): Attacks with a water pistol.
  • Wind Wheel (風車 Kazaguruma?): Raises a wind.
  • Densen (電閃? lit. "Lightning Flash"): Discharges lightning.
  • CyberRecon (索敵 Sakuteki?, lit. "Reconnaissance")
  • Konoha Kakure (木の葉隠れ? lit. "Foliage Concealment"): Hides itself with a foliage.
