RookChessmon (Black) is a Puppet Digimon whose name and design are derived from the black "Rook" chess piece. It has an appearance like a fortress which boasts impregnable defense. Although it's a gigantic Digimon it is very fast, and it defends against the opponent's strikes, then attacks. Its catchphrase is, "The opponent is nothing after me!"^[4]

An army of black Chessmon, including several RookChessmon, guards Bagramon's castle in the Bagra Pandæmonium. They attack the Xros Heart United Army when it approaches, but are defeated by Shoutmon X7. Bagra Brothers, The Bonds of Darkness!

Digimon World Dawn and DuskEdit

RookChessmon digivolves from KnightChessmon (Black) at LV 34 with 175 defence and can further digivolve into QueenChessmon or BlackMegaGargomon with BishopChessmon (Both have to be lvl. 45, 7000 dark exp., and 7000 beast exp.). In Dusk it appears in the Process Factory.

It is also a guard for DarkMoon City along side BishopChessmon.

Attacks

• Stronghold: Charges the opponent as it stands at attention, mowing them down and destroying them.
• Rook Gatling: Fires from the gunports on its arms.
• Castle Wall: Uses a stubborn, immovable, steadfast defense.

RookChessmon (White)Edit

RookChessmon (White) is a Puppet Digimon whose name and design are derived from the white "Rook" chess piece. It has an appearance like a fortress which boasts impregnable defense. Although it's a gigantic Digimon it is very fast, and it defends against the opponent's strikes, then attacks. Its favorite saying is, "The opponent is nothing after me!"^[4]
