Unfortunately, it seems he failed as his job, as Lucemon turns out to be a part of the Bagra Army. Lilamon is just as competent, but she lowers her guard around those who she believes are in love.

When the Bagra Army's Jungle Zone Battalion begins incursions in the Zone, Stingmon alone is more than a match for all incomers. The situation changes when the three Generals of the Fusion Fighters, Blue Flare, and Midnight all appear in his Zone simultaneously, leading the Bagra Army to invest more resources in its attack. Stingmon attacks Beelzemon, Jeremy, and Angie while they wander the Forest Zone for intruding in the Zone's sanctuary, only for Lilamon to step in, as she believes Jeremy and Angie to be in love. They bring the noncombatants to the Hidden Sanctuary for protection, while Stingmon organizes patrols. They are unable to fend off the combined forces of Blue Flare and Midnight, who are seeking the Zone's Guardian. As Stingmon lays dying, Deckerdramon decides it is not his time and brings him into the Sanctuary to heal. AxeKnightmon of Midnight uses this opportunity to infiltrate the Sanctuary as well. Welcome to the Jungle Zone!

Lilamon reveals that to gain entrance to the Sanctuary, one must perform the Dance of True Heart to show Deckerdramon the strength of their heart. She gathers the Jungle Zone residents to watch as Jeremy and Angie perform the dance, and she stays behind to fend off the Bagra Army. Within the Sanctuary, Stingmon is fully healed by Deckerdramon, who also bequeaths onto him the position of the Zone's Guardian when he decides to join Blue Flare due to the strength of Christopher's heart. With the Bagra Army in retreat and all other teams on their way out, the couple bid a happy farewell to the Fusion Fighters. Rumble in the Jungle Zone!

He offers himself for a DigiFuse, forming the dual-wielding Shoutmon X4S, who defeats GigaWaruMonzaemon. With relief, Spadamon greets his freed friend Coronamon. He is used by Zamielmon as both a means to paralyze his targets so his Honeybeemon can drain them of their energy to produce DigiHoney and as a countermeasure against opponents. Ignitemon comes into conflict with the Fusion Fighters United Army several times. Zamielmon takes sadistic pleasure in watching him fight his sister, eventually forcing him to mount GrandisKuwagamon Honeybee Mode. He is opposed by Lucemon in the next presidential electron. When the Fusion Fighters break out of prison, SlushAngemon personally apprehends them and sets them up for execution. He is defeated by Shoutmon X4B after a fierce battle but has his life spared under Mikey's orders. With this, the Sky Zone Residents give their overwhelming support to Lucemon in his candidacy. Trouble in Paradise SlushAngemon concedes his position as president to Lucemon, with the commissioner Shakkoumon transferring the presidential armband. SlushAngemon recognizes this power as what drove him to form a draconian state. Gargoylemon is its Sergeant and second-highest member. He is prone to jumping to conclusions, while its members have an intense dislike for any disruption. Despite their draconian measures, it is also because of them that the Bagra Army has not subjugated the Zone. On the other hand, Gargoylemon is able to punish Lucemon when he stands up to the patrol force and arrest Dondokomon for a crime with minimal evidence, while the police force itself stonewalls any attempts to see the accused. Gargoylemon and the Patrol Force support their leader the entire way, only stopping their fanatical mission when SlushAngemon cedes the position of president to Lucemon. Trouble in Paradise The Patrol Force's members are affected by the corrupting Phantom Mist A Dark Cloud Over the Sky Zone but are released along with the residents when the mist is dispersed. Puppetmon steals Mikey's Fusion Loader and brings it to Grandlocomon in order to trade for his freedom, but Grandlocomon merely smashes through him and the surrounding Trailmon in his rush to use the Fusion Loader; his own goal is to escape the Dust Zone itself heedless of the Zone's residents. Hagurumon places the Fusion Loader into a panel on Grandlocomon, and Grandlocomon begins traveling as fast as he can, even plowing straight through a town, in order to gather enough speed to open a portal between Zones. Puppetmon manages to hold onto Grandlocomon as he drives away, and the Fusion Fighters team up with Garbagemon's crew to catch up to the runaway tyrant. While the Fusion Fighters Digimon delay Grandlocomon by slowing him down with their own bodies, Puppetmon destroys Hagurumon, allowing Mikey to retrieve the Fusion Loader. 6-08 Magma Zone Residents

The Magma Zone Residents are the natural inhabitants of the Magma Zone. Many are either imprisoned by the Bagra Army or enslaved by them to dig for the Code Crown. Those who cannot work are discarded as waste; the only member among the Bagra Army who shows any sort of leniency is BlueMeramon, who intervenes in the case of a sick Prairiemon and the Gotsumon who stood up for it. Upon sight of these atrocities, the Fusion Fighters begin a raid on the Bagra Army's complex, only to find SkullMeramon and his troops waiting. They are only saved by the arrival of Dorulumon, who was spurred by the revelation, from a Bearmon they saved, that Cutemon's parents are among the prisoners. Danger Erupts! Pharaohmon[]

Pharaohmon is a the king of the Sand Zone. Deputymon intends to get the treasure from his tomb and, after dealing with the Bagra Army, sends Mikey to fight Pharaohmon. Within his chamber, Pharaohmon asks Mikey if he brings light or darkness to the world. Mikey responds with the light of Digifuse, bringing forth Shoutmon X4. Pharaohmon easily repels Shoutmon X4 by redirecting and reflecting his attacks. Mikey then realizes the entire setup is a test and that the proof of light Pharaohmon desires is a lack of malice. He also susses out that Deputymon and Pharaohmon are actually friends. Seeing Mikey's realization, Pharaohmon and Deputymon hand over the Zone's Code Crown as well as DigiCards. Treasure, Traps, and Trouble - Oh, My! Later, after Mikey is chosen as a Warrior of the Light and Reapmon is mortally wounded, Pharaohmon tells Mikey to use the Code Crown to release the Pyramid of Renewal. He explains the pyramid's history as a place of healing for the Warriors and how to use it to help Reapmon. With that, Pharaohmon bids the Fusion Fighters farewell. Showdown in the Sand Zone

Warriors of the Light[]

6-12 Silicalia

The Warriors of the Light (女神の戦士 Megami no Senshi?, lit. "Goddess's Warriors") was an order who once governed Silicalia in the Sand Zone, led by Angemon. Chosen by their Queen (女神 Megami?, lit. "Goddess") for the courage and justice in their hearts, they stabilized the Sand Zone even in the midst of war and upheaval. By raising their hands to a statue of their Queen, they glow with her light.

A young Reapmon trained with Angemon, desiring to be chosen as a Warrior of the Light, but their Queen rejected him again and again. Despite being disheartened, he never gave up until one day the entire order was put under a spell that enhanced their aggression. They began attacking each other in earnest, and Reapmon is forced to slay them all, even his mentor Angemon, in self-defense. Silicalia never recovered from this tragedy, and the Queen herself vanished. Its ruins were infested by wandering Digimon, while Reapmon swore to discover who engineered the order's destruction.

Years later, the order is revived when the Queen chooses Mikey Kudo of the Fusion Fighters to join its ranks. Seeing this blessing, a grown Reapmon, now an assassin for the Bagra Army, spares Mikey's life and relates the history of the Warriors and his own part in its downfall. In the Sand Zone, Laylamon of the Bagra Army reveals that it was her Ebemon which decimated the order, which she is now using to enslave the Digimon of the Fusion Fighters. Reapmon turns on his superior and is fatally wounded for his efforts. Mikey, Warrior of the Light! Mikey uses his possession of the Sand Zone's Code Crown to bring forth the Pyramid of Renewal, where injured Warriors would be restored by their Queen. Mikey attempts to use its power to revive Reapmon, and the Queen appears to run a revival program. Rather than be healed, Reapmon sends Mikey to help his friends against the Bagra Army's assault. In doing so, Reapmon understands what he did not before regarding the power of the Warriors: power not for power's sake but to protect others. Reapmon dons the mask of his Queen and dies taking a blow for Shoutmon X4K.

Finally worthy in the eyes of the Queen, Reapmon has a vision of Angemon accepting him as a fellow Warrior. Reapmon is revived as a true Warrior of the Light, Beelzemon, and inherits the legacy he so desired in his past life. Showdown in the Sand Zone

The order was led by Angemon and contained Karatenmon and Silphymon subordinates. Mikey Kudo and Beelzemon eventually become members.

Sky Zone Residents[]

6-15 Sky Zone Residents

The Sky Zone Residents are the natural citizens of the Sky Zone. They have a focus on the arts, which they are allowed to indulge until the protection of their Patrol Force. At the same time as they are protected by them, however, they are also oppressed, where the threat of execution hangs over them for the smallest infraction, as they are forced to watch a little Puttimon be killed. The residents are also able to choose their next president in the upcoming election, with a majority support turning a candidate's heart tattoo red. Dondokomon is almost arrested for bothering a Bucchiemon orchestra, and it is eventually taken too far when he is arrested for apparently knocking over a statue. At the Fusion Fighters' execution, a Kyupimon speaks up that it was the one who knocked over the statue, taking their place on the chopping block. The injustice spurs the Fusion Fighters to act, and upon seeing them defeat SlushAngemon, the current president and head of the Patrol Force, they throw their support behind the other candidate, Lucemon. Trouble in Paradise They are present at Lucemon's inauguration only to be betrayed by their new leader, who is a Bagra Army spy. Lucemon takes the Code Crown and reveals the Zone's dark secret: the Phantom Mist, a darkness that corrupts all. It was held in check by both the Code Crown and the goodness in the residents' hearts, but without the Code Crown's mitigating influence, the Mist instead blackens all of the residents into rampaging. A Dark Cloud Over the Sky Zone Only when the Lucemon takes the Mist to power himself up do they recover. They are in attendance once more when Lucemon is defeated and Shakkoumon bequeaths the Code Crown to the Fusion Fighters for saving them, cheering them on. The Warrior Zone Residents are those who make the Warrior Zone their home. They mainly consist of Monitamon led by their eldest who hone their skills here, Monimon, as well as their princess Babamon. Karatenmon of all ages are part of this group as well. Unfortunately, because the Zone is where ninja are trained, they are comparatively weak in offense, which allows the Bagra Army to dominate them. The Monitamon Elder greets the Fusion Fighters upon arrival and shows the training Monitamon, which is how he explains why their princess has been kidnapped by Musyamon. Shurimon threatens their princess's safety if they are unable to find the Code Crown, a fate which the Monitamon stall through bribery and ofuscation. Kazumi (middle), Teppei (right), Shintarou (far right)

Kazumi (カズミ?), Shintarou (シンタロウ?), and Teppei (テッペイ?) are players of the Sea Monster card game. They enter in a lan house, with kazumi complaining about there being no empty seats, and see Hiroya playing Sea Monster in a computer. Kazumi asks if he raised his rank, and Teppei laughs at him for being only in 2560th place. Kazumi tells Hiroya that only the top 50 get to enter in the upcoming tournament, then throws him away from the chair, sits where he was, and starts playing.

Later, in a playground, they are complaining about their new cards being common ones, and thinking that getting in the two digit rankings is impossible. Kazumi asks Hiroya if he's still in the four digits, and the latter responds he's already in the two digits. The three are surprised, and Kazumi asks if he's joking, and Hiroya shows his rare cards. They are impressed with the number of rare cards Hiroya has, and ask how he got so many, which he responds to be a secret, then leaves. The three wonder if he'll be safe with so many cards, as they heard rumors that Sea Monster players were pulled into a strange dimension and had their cards taken from them.

When Hiroya hits the 10th place, they are praising him in the playground. Teppei asks how many rare cards he has, and Shintarou asks if he thinks he'll get to 1st place soon enough. After RookChessmon abandons Hiroya and sides with Megane, they see him sitting in a bank with many cards on the ground. Shintarou asks if he doesn't want the cards, Kazumi says they're going to take them from him, until he takes a closer look and sees they are just "loser cards", then the three leave.
