Is Barbatos usually portrayed with a beard? Cause if not, we may have a pun here; "barba" is Portuguese for "beard". Actually, looking at Wiktionary, it also means "beard" in Asturian, Catalan, Galician, Italian, Latin, Romansch, Sicilian, and Spanish, and is also Esperanto for "bearded". Anime... Digivolution from ZeedMillenniummon

Should we include that Barbamon is a Digivolution from ZeedMillenniummon is the main premise of the Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars Blue & Red storyline. The link that was given in previous edits seems to indicate that Barbamon exists as a dark being, and swallows Zeed before appearing, similar to MaloMyotismon swallowing Mummymon and Arukenimon. Can we get a proper link to this and/or a transcript of the scene's script?Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 21:26, March 2, 2017 (UTC)

The closest I've found on the Internet is this Spanish transcript of the main points in the story of the game: Super Xros Wars Guide Part 5. Regarding this part, it literally says:

"After beating ZeedMillenniummon, the cloud of darkness will appear in order to swallow it, and officially introduce itself as one of the wicked Demon Lord Barbamon. The Digimon will attack Taiki and co. and then teleport Kiriha. It will activate the volcano and disappear from the place."

Personally, I think that Barbamon can take its physical form after merging this cloud and darkness and ZeedMillenniummon. A similar case to Apollomon Whispered, but this is just my interpretation of the scene.
