Alundra Wiki
Edit
Hey, I'm Likeacupcake (as you can obviously see), from the Final Fantasy Wiki. Anyway, I'm an avid fan of Alundra, and noticed that the wiki on the subject is, how should I say this... under developed? Anyway, I was just wondering if you are the current head of the wiki, or if you know how is, as I was hoping to help expand it into a full wiki.
Thanks for your time! (Contact me on this wiki, the FF one, or Alundra one; I'll be hanging around on all three until you reply) Likeacupcake Talk 10:04, February 8, 2011 (UTC)
Digi-Eggs
Edit
Would you be able to produce custom digi-egg images of the Adventure DigiDestined's Digi-Eggs?(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 23:17, May 2, 2011 (UTC)
- Wow, that's weird - I just happened to log in for the first time in ages and saw your message. What are the chances... Anyway, I'll see what I can do about those Digi-Eggs. THB → Talk ← 13:08, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
- P.S. I should mention that I'm in the middle of exams and stuff at the moment, so it might take a while.
- Good luck, dude, those are brutal.(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 17:41, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks! Once it's all over, I should have more time to help out generally around the wiki again. Until then, I'd better get down to some work... THB → Talk ← 19:02, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Good luck, dude, those are brutal.(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 17:41, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
Three down; just four more to go. Took me ages to find the upload link on this good-for-nothing Wikia skin. THB → Talk ← 13:01, May 19, 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you so incredibly much, dude.(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 00:30, May 20, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry! Went off without saying anything. All the Adventure Digi-Eggs are uploaded now. THB → Talk ← 23:23, June 19, 2011 (UTC)
- SSCCHWAANNGGG.
- If I may be a bit of a bitch, could you also do 02 Leafmon, Savers Koromon, Savers Puwamon, and the Bio-Hybrid eggs (I think that's all of them)?(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 00:37, June 20, 2011 (UTC)
- You'll be pleased to know that I already did Leafmon, for Genesis of Evil.
- However, concerning Savers, I still haven't even got round to watching it, so I wouldn't know the first place to look for an image! Any chance you could tell me where the Digi-Eggs appear in the series? THB → Talk ← 14:47, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
- You'd have to check the episode guide for the exact numbers, but:
- Koromon: during "Battle with Belphemon!", or preceding episodes. Agumon reverts to egg after the Ruin Mode episode.
- Puwamon: the ep where Kristy gets Biyomon; the ep after Falcomon brings the egg back to Merukimon. First appearance, egg appears from nowhere for Kristy. Later, Merukimon shown with egg in hand, trying to reformat.
- Bio Hybrids: When they are defeated, at least for BioMegas (not sure whether BioArmors display eggs)
- Ivan: Holy City battle (episode with BioStegomon > BioSpinomon)
- Nanami: Thomas vs. Nanami (episode with BioQuetzalmon > BioRotosmon)
- Kouki: Marcus vs. Kouki (episode with BioThunderbirmon > BioDarkdramon, might be two parter).

- Thanks! I'll see what I can do. THB → Talk ← 15:27, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
- If you are able to, could you do the Celestial Digimon and Legendary Warrior eggs from Frontier?(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 12:12, October 12, 2011 (UTC)
Episode edit checks
Edit
There were a lot of suspicious episode article edits that I haven't been able to check, and I don't think I will be able to. Could you take a look at them?(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 14:32, June 25, 2011 (UTC)
heyey!
Edit
You're back! How's it hanging?(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 04:58, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Hiiii! :3 Lanate (talk) 06:09, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Hello! I'm good thanks. Just been through an intense few weeks of university, but now I'm on vacation. Thought I'd come and help out a bit. :D
- First thing I wanted to do was modify the episode article layout slightly to fit Wikia's 'Oasis' skin (¬_¬ etc.). I already modified And so it begins..., but didn't get any further than that.
- Anyway, if there's anything else specific I can do to help out, just ask. :) Though I'll need a few days to remember how everything works... :/ THB → Talk ← 16:01, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
BR
Edit
Could you please stop adding "/" in the br tags? We don't use those. Anime... PAAWAA!!! 14:14, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry. I got the idea it was an HTML standard, but just looked it up and turns out I was wrong. :P Will correct right now! THB → Talk ← 14:22, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
Also, to be clear, are quotation marks now the official thing for referring to episodes? I used to use italics all the time and no one said anything, and most of the episode articles I've edited still have those italics. :/ THB → Talk ← 14:53, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
- I think that's the MLA format for stuff like that, yeah. Articles in a magazine, chapters in a book, episodes in a show.
- A source.(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 15:17, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Ah okay, fair enough. I'll correct all the bad italics as I go through the episode articles then. THB → Talk ← 15:43, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
- ...Or should I be using this? -> And so it begins... THB → Talk ← ~
- Actually, never mind. I'm guessing it's more of a case-by-case thing. THB → Talk ← 15:53, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
- A source.(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 15:17, March 17, 2013 (UTC)
- I think Lanate and G-SANtos have been handling the refs that use episode titles; for my part, I just use storylinks as pointers within a synopsis.(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 04:29, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
- I thought as much about the storylinks. Thanks! THB → Talk ← 13:36, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
- I think that's the MLA format for stuff like that, yeah. Articles in a magazine, chapters in a book, episodes in a show.

Edit
Thanks for the edit for A Clue From The Digi-Past. I did not know what Akanbe was. --Tentomon22 (talk) 18:55, March 20, 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, I didn't either, though I've seen that gesture so much in anime, I figured it probably had a name. :) THB → Talk ← 14:55, March 21, 2013 (UTC)
Unfortunately, the smart a** we call Mr. SmartyMax removed it, along with the other quotes I put in. --Tentomon22 (talk) 15:02, March 21, 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't realise they were gone. Though to be honest, I considered removing one or two myself, or at least shortening them to cut out unnecessary bits of speech.
- Quotes have got to be very selective, and to-the-point. Most quotes you'll see are just witty statements, because they can be understood without much context. Anything that isn't a witty statement needs to be really memorable for some other reason. The important thing is not to get carried away and tell the whole story.
- Hope that helps in some way. If you still feel some of your quotes should've stayed, I'd suggest going to the episode's talk page and giving your reasons there. THB → Talk ← 16:10, March 21, 2013 (UTC)
Analyzers
Edit
Would you be able to get the rest of the animated analyzers for Adventure, 02, Frontier, and Data Squad?(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 22:27, April 14, 2013 (UTC)
- Not sure if you mean the templates or actual animations. Either way, I finished all of Adventure and 02 before I left the wiki.
- Template-wise, the Frontier template seems to be looking pretty good already, though Data Squad looks a bit unfinished - hard to say what it should be really, Data Squad is kind of inconsistent. :/
- Also, I know you didn't mention Tamers, but I drew up some ideas for it a while ago, if you're interested. I should mention, with the last two, I was trying to create that circular pattern, which looks great in Chrome and Safari, but doesn't come out properly in Firefox or IE.
- Animation-wise, I'm afraid I'm not really in a position to be making more animations at the moment - lacking both the tools and the time. Though, outside Adventure and 02, there's not a lot of animation in the analyzers anyway, so I'm not sure if it's really worth making them.
- Well that's a mouthful... Basically, I can do templates, but not animations. Data Squad looks kind of urgent, so I could start with that. THB → Talk ← 18:25, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
- For Tamers, it's really only the Toei art so I think the best bet there is to just use the Toei art; not sure how to address the necessary tranparency on the images, though, since the images need to be white-background elsewhere.
- For Adventure and 02, there are a few that were not animated, such as Gazimon. If you are unable to get the animations done yourself, would you be able to write up instructions so that someone else could create animations that fit the same standards as your previous work?(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ (ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 20:11, April 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Any Adventure and 02 one's that aren't animated, I left on purpose as there is no animation in there - for example, the still image of Gazimon is what they literally show. There were others, such as in Davis Cries Wolfmon, which did zoom out as well, though again on still images, so I decide it wasn't worth animating a simple zoom.
- I can't really remember all the details about how I went about making them, but here's roughly the process I had:
- Obtain screenshots from RAW quality video - the analyzer footage is normally copied from elsewhere in the episode, so find the original full-screen footage; 2D animation frame rate is about 14 fps, lower than the full video frame rate, so just take enough screenshots to get all the 2D animation frames.
- Insert screenshots into animation software - I used one called Jasc Animation Shop because it was there, don't know about any others.
- Add a 10 second pause where appropriate - the analyzer footage normally has a pause on the last frame, though if not, use your own judgement as to where to put it (if at all, e.g. here).
- Add a fade effect on the last frame which loops back to the first frame.
- Generate the animation as a GIF - set the size to whatever it'll need to be displayed at - if you try to shrink it down later, it'll become stuck on the first frame.
- And that's basically it!
- Concerning the Tamers templates, shall I put one of them up, or tweak them a bit more? THB → Talk ← 18:24, April 17, 2013 (UTC)
