Weatherdoramon combines elements from the mythological Chinese dragon, which has been associated with the weather, as well as the mythological Japanese thunder god Raijin, which is often depicted with a ring of drums that Weatherdoramon has. It also rides a storm cloud, lending aid to the thunder and lightning imagery. Like most Appmon, it has two cables on its back to allow Applink.
