Synopsis[]

While traveling to the next Zone, the Fusion Fighters wonder what Nene would've used the Phantom Mist for anyway. They end up in the Jungle Zone midair, a predicament from which Beelzemon and an ad-hoc Dorulumon (Starmons) digifuse save them. Separated, Mikey tries to contact Angie and Jeremy but to no avail, so he sends Dorulumon and Deputymon to find them. The others are attacked by Stingmon, protector of the Jungle Zone's Hidden Sanctuary. As Beelzemon and Stingmon fight, Angie and Jeremy are caught up in the damage to the area, from which Lilamon saves them. In the distance, Mikey is attacked by Kongoumon and his Bagra Army subordinates, only for Tactimon himself to appear. Tactimon directs Kongoumon to the Hidden Sanctuary while he takes on Mikey. The other Fusion Fighters arrive to their aid, forming Shoutmon X4B and facing Tactimon. Tactimon retreats, believing that Lord Bagra needs to unseal his weapon for to match the Fusion Fighters. Shoutmon X4B wipes out the rest of the battalion that remains.

At the Hidden Sanctuary, Lilamon and Stingmon guard the Fusion Fighters' noncombatants, only for Christopher and Nene to show up, having taken care of Kongoumon and his troops. They quickly take out both protectors. Nene suggests torturing them for information about the Sanctuary and its guardian, but this is too far for even Christopher, who refuses. AxeKnightmon emerges from Nene's Fusion Loader and attacks Blue Flare, at which point the newly arrived Mikey and Shoutmon X4B intervene. As Stingmon loses strength, the Jungle Zone guardian draws him into the Sanctuary using its light, which AxeKnightmon and Nene infiltrate.
