Zoe, trapped in Sakkakumon's Water Sphere, is unaware that some of Ranamon's fans, the Honeybeemon, are plotting to trap her. At first, they make a cage and intend to drop it on her when she walks under it. When she takes a different path, however, they try to follow her, only to drop it upon themselves in their dimwittedness and they become trapped. Zoe, unaware that the cage was meant for her, spirit evolves into Kazemon and frees them. Thinking her kindness to be false, they again try to trap her by making a giant web--but when they see her coming, they get stuck to it themselves until she again sets them free. Now afraid that she will make them her slaves, the Honeybeemon attempt to sabatoge a tree to fall on her, but it begins to fall on them instead. She kicks the tree out of the way and the Honeybeemon applaud. Now trusting of Zoe, the Honeybeemon give her food and drink, upsetting Ranamon, who has been watching the whole affair with Mercurymon's help. She goes to the Sphere herself and instructs the Honeybeemon to give Zoe a poisoned apple that will give her terrible nightmares. Zoe bites into it and begins to remember how the girls in her school rejected her because she was different for having lived in Italy for a long time. Zoe remembers how she was mean to a girl in her class when she felt rejected and says she will try to be a better person, angering Ranamon, who makes fun of her. The effects of the apple wears off and Zoe is able to spirit evolve into Kazemon again. Ranamon, however, takes the upperhand, but before she can win, Kazemon slide evolves into Zephyrmon. Ranamon also slide evolves, battling her as Calmaramon. After some struggle, the Honeybeemon abandon their loyalty to Ranamon and become Zoe's number one fans. Zoe knocks the Fractal Code out of Calmaramon and steals her beast spirit, then slide evovles into Kazemon to purify her. An eye portal opens and Zoe escapes from Sakkakumon, rejoining Tommy, Bokomon, and Neemon, as well as J.P., who escaped from the Wood Sphere by defeating a Cherrymon. The Honeybeemon declare that they've started the Zoe Fan Club and J.P. says he is the president.

- When Ranamon asks Mercurymon "Who is the fairest of them all?" she is referencing Snow White. The reference continues when Mercurymon replies that Zoe is the only one more beautiful than her.
