Zoe Orimoto (織本 泉, Orimoto Izumi^?) is a fictional character in the anime series Digimon Frontier. She is one of the "DigiDestined", children who were chosen to receive the ability to transform into Digimon in order to save the Digital World.

Zoe is the only female member of the team and was chosen to wield the Spirits of Wind which hold the power of AncientKazemon. She was born in Japan but moved to Italy at a young age. She recently moved back to Japan but had problems making friends due to the culture barrier and because of her bossy attitude. Zoe knows many Italian words and uses Italian exclamations occasionally. J.P. Shibayama has a crush on her and blatantly flirts with her, and in turn she sometimes flirts with Takuya Kanbara. She is scared of the dark. Welcome to My Nightmare

Her name, "Izumi" (泉, "Izumi"^?), means "Fountain". Her character song is "Kaze no Shizuku".

In the Italian dub, she moved to United States of America^{[citation needed]}, rather than Italy, and speaks English exclamations occasionally.

Her Italian surname, Ayamoto, is an alternate reading of Orimoto (織本, Orimoto^?).

Zoe is a young girl with long blonde hair and green eyes. She wears a pale purple cap with two points that resemble a cat's ears coming out of it. She also wears white and light purple shoes and long purple stockings. She wears a blue and white striped shirt under a light purple vest and a light purple skirt, and white panties. Both the skirt and the vest have a white vertical stripe on each side. Her shirt is short enough to reveal her navel, and her vest is also open.

At school camp, she wears a light gray hat with a purple horizontal stripe on it, a blue shirt with two butons near the collar, navy pants with a white vertical stripe on each side, and her usual sneakers. Zoe's Unbeelievable Adventure

When trying to choose which swimsuit to wear at the Toucan Paradise, she imagines herself in two different swimsuits; the first is a white strapless one-piece swimsuit with two red diagonal stripes on the chest, the upper stripe bigger than the bottom one. This swimsuit is also cut to expose the sides of her waist, and she comments that it would make her look like a race queen. The second is a navy school swimsuit with a small gray rectangle in the chest. She comments this swimsuit would make her look like a gravure idol in the Japanese version, and a "super athlete" in the English dub. In the Japanese version, she also imagines herself in a red bikini with a side-tie bottom and front-tie top, and also imagines her breasts much larger and her waist much thinner than they really are. Finally, she picks a pink one-piece swimsuit with white frills near the collar, but before she can wear it, she uses it to cover herself when Takuya and J.P. enter in the changing room while she's only in her panties. Zoe receives a message from a mysterious person asking her to go the Shibuya Train Station, where she embarks in a Trailmon (Worm) to the Digital World, and meets Takuya Kanbara, Tommy Himi, and J.P. Shibayama. In the Flame Terminal, when Takuya finds the H Spirit of Flame and spirit evolves to Agunimon, she is impressed by his fight against Cerberumon. All Aboard After the Fractal Code of the Village of Flames is restored, she and Takuya follow Bokomon and Neemon to see the village, while Tommy and J.P. try to find a way to go home. When Zoe notices Tommy's absence, they start searching for him, and as Takuya gets worried about the boy, Zoe teases him about acting as an adult and for being three months younger than her.

In addition, the evil Warrior of Water, Ranamon, becomes jealous of Zoe's beauty and popularity, resulting in a series of duels, one confrontation going so far as Ranamon tickling Zoe's belly button with a feather which comes to an end after Zoe defeats Ranamon and takes her Spirits.

Zoe has two theme songs: the vocal "Kaze no Shizuku" (風のしずく, "Kaze no Shizuku"^? lit. "Drop of Wind") and the instrumental "Kaze no Theme" (風のテーマ, "Kaze no Theme"^? lit. "Theme of Wind"). A version of her Spirit Evolution and fractal code digitize speech appears on Digimon Frontier: Christmas Smile as "Spirit Evolution!! ~Izumi-hen~". She speaks the "Izumi's Love Letter" track in the CD drama, Digimon Frontier Original Story: Things That Want To Be Told.

From a franchise standpoint, Zoe is a part of the Spirit Singers, a group composed of her fellow DigiDestined from Digimon Frontier. They debut in the Digimon Frontier: Christmas Smile album.

Digimon FormsEdit

Zoe wields AncientKazemon's power through the Spirits of Wind. In Digimon Battle Spirit 2, Zoe can become AncientKazemon herself as a "finishing" move. If Kazemon fills up her power meter, she can warp digivolve into AncientKazemon and stab her opponent with her rapier.

KazemonEdit This section of the article is a stub. You can help by expanding it. Kazemon, also known as Fairimon in Japan, is the form Zoe takes when she digivolves using the Human Spirit of Wind. Her original name comes from "fairy", while her name in the dubbed version comes from "Kaze" (風, "Kaze"? lit. "Wind"), the Japanese word for wind. Kazemon is a fairy with long purple hair, fair skin, and four green stripes on her face. She wears a pink bra and pink panties, a pink garter belt above her navel, and large, pink boots with green soles, purple heels with butterfly wings attached, green borders at the top, yellow and red circles, and white knee pads with four green diagonal marks coming out of it, forming a butterfly image on each knee. She also wears metallic gloves with brooches at the wrist that are adorned with the symbol of the Spirits of Wind and have butterfly wings attached, metallic shoulder pads and a visor with a final pair of butterfly wings attached. She is kind, caring and strong. Her preferred attacks are powerful kicks and hurricane force winds. She first transformed into her Kazemon form when confronted with the Mushroomon brothers who were endangering Floramon. This encounter proved Zoe's determination, but after the brothers digivolved to a Woodmon, she is defeated and had to be saved by Lobomon who won the fight. Kazemon Kicks It Zoe temporarily loses the ability to spirit digivolve into Kazemon when her spirit is taken by Gigasmon, Can't Keep a Grumblemon Down but she regains it when Grumblemon is finally defeated thanks to MetalKabuterimon. No Whamon Zoe fights in this form in Digimon Battle Spirit 2. Attacks Hurricane Wave (Brezza Petalo, Ita: "Breeze Petal"): Throws long, thin tornadoes erupting from her fingertips. Tempest Twist (Tornado Gamba, Ita: "Tornado Leg"): Gets down on hands, spreads legs, and then spins very quickly to create a strong force of wind. Love Tap (Carino Anca, Ita: "Pretty Hip"): Taps foes with her buttocks to cause temporary feelings of attraction. Roseo Temporale (Ita: "Rosy Thunderstorm"): Rapidly kicks the opponent with both legs.

ZephyrmonEdit This section of the article is a stub. You can help by expanding it. Zephyrmon, also known as Shutumon, is the form Zoe takes when she spirit digivolves with the Beast Spirit of Wind. Her Japanese name comes from the word Shutu who is the Sumerian god of the south wind. Her English name comes from Zephyrus, the Greek god of the west wind. Zephyrmon is a woman with light-blue wings growing out of her head along with a ruff of feathers that resembles a hairdo, lightly tanned skin, light blue eyes, and two black stripes on her face. She has a pair of brown wings on her back, and three fingers on both her hands and feet. In the manhua she has five fingers on her hands. She wears pink panties, a pink top with detached sleeves, and metallic shoulder pads. She also wears long metallic gloves with purple soft-edged pentagons with the symbol of the Spirits of Wind on them, pink boots with metallic knee pads, a long black scarf that resembles a strap, and a pink breathing mask. Her boots are connected to her top by pink straps that pass through the inside of her panties. She is agile, swift, and powerful, and always ready to fight and protect her friends. Considered to be the fiercest and most beautiful of all the spirits, Zephyrmon attacks by manipulating energy, wind and slicing foes with her razor sharp claws, which can also slice through Calmaramon's "Acid Ink". Surprisingly, Zoe was able to control her Beast Spirit without any challenge, contrary to the boys, except Koichi who had no trouble because he was trying to protect his brother Koji, whose Beast Spirits went on destructive rampages or were having some minor problems with maintaining control until the boys learned to control them; a feat Zoe attributes to her being a girl. Truly, she was able to control it because of her need of flight and to protect the other DigiDestined. Zephyrmon first appeared to fight Ranamon, who soon became her rival, as Ranamon was madly jealous that Zoe's beast spirit made her far prettier than she was. The Swiss Family Digimon This rivalry ended when Zephyrmon destroyed Ranamon in a one-on-one fight in Sakkakumon's Water Sphere. Zephyrmon can use her large brown wings to take the air and soar through the sky at incredible speeds. She also has the vision of an eagle. This is Zoe's digivolution in Digimon Battle Spirit 2. Attacks Hurricane Gale (Wind of Pain): Throws blades of pink energy at her foes, which rip and slice them with the force of a tornado. Plasma Paws (Gilgamesh Slicer): Red energy orbs form around her hands and feet with which she uses slices and dice her enemies with the power of a hurricane.
