Zurumon is a Slime Digimon whose name is derived from the onomatopoeia for dragging (「ずるずる」, "Zuruzuru"^?), as well as "Sly" (「狡い」, "Zurui"^?), and as such is a deceptive Digimon which moves by creeping. It was produced from the fusion of an extra-malignant computer virus and a computer hacker's evil desires, an evolutionary origin which differs from other Digimon of the special Slime type. It operates its supple body skillfully in order to crawl across the ground.^[2]

Zurumon digivolves to Pagumon. A Zurumon appears as the underling to DemiDevimon in the first Area, "Plains". After being defeated, it becomes a Koromon.

Zurumon appears in Slippery Swamp, and can digivolve to Kapurimon with 20 Machine AP, Pagumon with 20 Dark AP, or Motimon by passing time.

Zurumon hatches from the Digi-egg, and digivolves to Pagumon after waiting about an hour.

Attacks

• Poison Bubbles (強烈な毒を帯びた泡, "Kyouretsuna Doku wo Obita Awa"^?, lit. "Venom-tinged Bubbles"): Spits out bubbles of the severely toxic material which constitutes its body, in order to avoid larger Digimon.
